Bath time amongst other things
After two months of persistence (and a bucket of treats), I managed to get Tyco accustomed to taking showers in our bath room. My fiance thinks that I am nuts to treat such a small bird so lavishly, but I know that it is well worth the effort. I also recently bought him a play gym, but realized how easy it would've been to make one on my own; guess that he can have two gyms.
On another topic, I bought a cage offline which is bigger and better than the Petsmart cage I have him in currently. The major inhibiting factor for his new move in is that due to the size of the new cage, it must be housed downstairs. The problem with that is the huge hole in the ceiling due to a busted water pipe that my land lord has yet to fix (not his fault, it is hard to find a contractor in my area, long story). Would running a HEPA filter remove the mold from the air caused by that leak? Is it okay if I bleach the spot to prevent further molding?
