6:02p Last to know.
I found out last night that everyone he works with knew about her and him. And I used to wonder why they looked at me funny when I'd go into work to see him. Or when I'd pick him up. And people she knew, knew. I went to a bbq at her house at the end of May... and everyone there knew, except for me. Everyone. Everyone. Even her husband knew. I was the only one who didn't.
And right now, actually... since I found out last night... I feel like the stupidest person alive. I cannot get over how blind I was.

9:42a who is job hunting?
if you are job hunting, please post: what you do, where you are located (generally) and how far you are willing to travel/relocate if you are HIRING, post what you are hiring for, where you are based, and if telecommute is an option.
this is NOT the place to post a whole resume, but you may LINK to your resume.......
LJ networking in action. right?
PS currently looking into getting a day job, i prefer sales or help desk. located in Philadelphia, also looking into getting my real estate license.

8:53a ikea, cleaning,etc
just another quick post, haven't had time to even read most of my replies...
we finally managed to clear off, disassemble and throw out the dining room table. after years of trying to salvage it i finally convinced Wayne that anything that kitty peed, and whose legs were held together with duct tape, and we NEVER ate at because of the above, was just taking up space. we wanted to replace it with a specific IKEA table, but of course its out of stock (sad face) the table i wanted folds down like a sewing table, but has a skinny profile when folded that has shelves in it!
because we got rid of the dining room table, we had a large open space in the dining room, which means we could finally assemble the "expedit" shelf from IKEA that we bought. um. two years ago? its six feet by six feet and very tiring to put together. however. that means we finally got rid of the bug infested wreck of a shelf we have been using in our pantry. getting that out was no fun. sliding the new one into its place was fortunately fairly simple. hopefully i will be able to clean up the mess. moving the old shelf involved a lot of "pile up everything that was on it..... somewhere".
The new Pax wardrobes were delivered yesterday. we actually broke down and sprang for delivery because we didnt feel like dragging eight foot tall ikea boxes up the stairs with our health issues. i will probably end up assembling them by myself, but as far as i can tell they are just "oversized Billy bookcases" so i am hoping it will be fairly simple. i am also hoping that with better storage i will not find my best interview jacket chewed full of moth holes! (very angry glare directed at all things fiber eating)
still need to get homes for the two antique dressers. both wit intact (if very old) mirrors. they work fine, are very scratched up and would do well with re finishing, but are drastically inefficient. we just have too much stuff to afford to not build vertically....
when you have a complete SCA wardrobe, summer and winter, plus a Sari habit, plus your mundane clothes, just the clothing storage takes up way more space than is planned on per person.....combine that with a computer, a home business, and the crafts.... well its crowded.
but even with the two weeks off for Pennsic i suspect that this brings me back into line with my goal of "six bags worth of trash, Goodwill, or other stuff leaving the house each week until i can see floor consistantly! in most rooms! its getting there, although i still think a bulldozer may be needed for the living room.
isnt it astonishing how much mess you make trying to clean up?

Which Egyptian God(dess) Are YOU? created with QuizFarm.com |
| You scored as Hethert You are Hethert (Hathor)! Hethert is THE female goddess of Egypt. She was widely worshiped by women and had a variety of roles for this reason. Primarily, she is the goddess of love, joy, music and dancing. She is sexual and sensual, and is the most light-hearted goddess. While she does have funerary aspects, her roles as mother/musician/dancer/woman are more remembered today. She is depicted as a cow-headed woman, a cow, or a woman wearing cows' horns and the sun disk. Her animal is the cow.

6:15a apparantly my warranty expired....
lately i feel rather like my house and property are the featured gag in a cartoon............ touch it and it breaks. in the time just before, during, and since my return from, Pennsic....... i cracked my ribs/tore cartilage etc. hubby and i both got heat illness we arranged to replace the fridge because the old one was malfunctioning the car died, but good. and we had to buy a new (used) car the washer died, it was cheaper to buy a new one than fix the old one... so we had to buy a new one. and when wayne put all the freezer stuff from the old fridge into the basement freezer, it didnt close securely, and we lost all the food in the freezer downstairs.
this is on top of the usual bills and such.......... anyway, wayne has been working from home due to the above, so i cant get online unless i sneak a few minutes in when he is not online (like now)
so, how is YOUR life going??

3:50p Long Story Short
He cheated. I kicked him out. I was sad about it for a bit. I missed him. I wanted him back.
But now, I don't. Now, it's all about me and my girls.
