Heidi's Bucket List (Part 2 of 500!)

One of the things that occurred to me that I would love to do is to send fan mail to all my wonderful and favorite and inspiring people. I actually started off today sending an email to Jay Mohr, a gorgeous actor/comedian that stars in The Ghost Whisperer. He has his own website which he seems to manage on his own. There is a blog which he updates regularly and then there is the Contact info.

Well, I sent a short but eloquent email to Jay Mohr letting him know I was a huge admirer and that I wished him all the best in the world! It felt really good! Chances that he answers? well, we'll have to see...Chances that I marry him? probably very slim! LOL!!!

So, as part of my bucket list there is a few people that I would love to send letters/emails to. Here're a few examples:

--Eric Bana
--Penelope Cruz
--Salma Hayek
--Robert Downey, Jr.
--Keira Knightley
--Emilie Autumn
--Ines Sastre
--Catherine McCormack
--Geraldine Chaplin
--Isabel Allende

There is many more, of course, but I can't think of any other names!

x-posted to elfinpoet

Heidi's Bucket List (Part I of 500!)

I have yet to see the film. I will probably wait until its release on DVD. I love Morgan Freeman, but I would not pay $9 to see Jack Nicholson, but I digress...

I made a "bucket list" or a wish list about 7 years ago and it had over 500 items on it. I think that if I rewrite that list today, I think it will continue to have 500 items or more because I have learned about a great deal of things ever since!

As an author, the first I would throw in my bucket is to publish a book by which all other books will be measured, mine and other writers'.

As a woman, I would like to see myself independently in my finances and with a retirement that I can certainly look forward to.

Motherhood is something I might throw in the bucket but I am not 100 percent sure I want to be a mother. I love children though. I would like to teach many children with my writing, my art and my projects.

I would like to have a magazine (or e-zine) of my own. I would like to promote younger writers and artists.

I would like to travel around the world more than once.

And since my list is over 500 items long, I will share more things as we go along!

Bucket List of ebayer

My bucketlist is about things/people I want to see/do/be and I will be adding to it and crossing things out:

Get healthy.

Get my new novel published commercially and with acclaim.

Start my own publishing company.

Become a master watercolorist.

Go on a fabulous tropical island vacation with my husband.

Go to Greece and Italy with my sister and find our cousins. (Brush up on my Greek first.)

Live in a place where I am allowed to use water for a garden. Grow a big vegetable garden and a small orchard. Start a food co-op.

Learn how to sail a small boat.

Invent something that will change people's lives for the better.

Find a long-lost person who means a lot to me and say I'm sorry.
