WHY SO SERIOUS.
LAWL ALSO HEY NEW FL PEEPS. ILU <33
AND IN CASE YOU DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE POINT OF THIS POST: THE DARK KNIGHT. GO SEE IT.
$1.75 per word for a non-exclusive opening paragraph? I have TONS of opening paragraphs. I am ongepotchket with opening paragraphs. Why am I struggling to finish the bloody stories and sell exclusive first pub rights for 5 cents a word, if I'm lucky? It's not a bug, it's a feature!
Is that really how one spells ongepotchket or is Google having me on?
Sorry for posting so much and hogging up all your friend's lists. I should be back to posting once or twice a week, if that, fairly soon. Anyway, someone asked me today what my favorite Bones moment was, and I thought about it a lot. (Probably a little too much, but damn I love that show) I ended up ignoring all the funny moments or the kiss or Tony and Roxie or King of the Lab competitions or saving each other/comforting each other, and thought of the scene where it gives me the tingles every time I watch it. It's serious but sweet, nice background music, has a "guy" hug, and has a nice family moment too. (Plus, I just adore the look Brennan gives) Not to mention I made my best friend Caroline watch this scene, then she decided to watch the whole episode, and after that the whole show. And this, after months of trying to persuade her!
Here are cartoons from Arthur, King of Time and Space since last Friday. Fanfiction cartoons are on their annual summer hiatus.

Thanks for reading.

Free Agent has always been my newsreader of choice, but a few months ago it began acting all hinky, so I'm in the process of trying Outlook Express to see if does any better (the verdict so far: eh). As a result, I'm downloading a lot of RATMM posts from about 2003/2004, which was when the Great Cascades of Old were winding down. I've taken time to read some of these posts and have made two major discoveries:
1) Dang! RATMM was full of sharp, witty, snarky people!
2) I can't spell for crap!
Actually, I can, but I sometimes let my fingers get ahead of my brain and don't double check (because after all - me?!? Make an error in spelling?!? Inconceivable!!)
Thank Ceiling Cat that LJ has a spellchecker!
I also found out that five years ago, I had no idea what a Blackberry was. Oooh, embarrassing!

Happy After-The-Fact Birthday to the lovely
firsttiger, Photographix Extraordinaire.
"Photographix" isn't a word, you say? Well, it is now. And all thanks to Tracy!

Hey. I'm still alive out here, believe or not. My posting has been kind of slack, I know, - it's one of those situations where when I'm not at the computer, I think of all kinds of things I want to post here. Tons. Oodles. (Not sure just how much an oodle is, but research is ongoing) Then when I finally do sit down for some quality time, my head suddenly empties of all rational thought (not that there was much there to begin with, mind you) and I sit and stare at the screen until, out sheer desperation, I'm forced to begin playing Three Towers Solitaire. And the 56K dial-up connection doesn't help.
Life with nine toes continues apace. I've found out that despite all the myths you hear about needing your big toes for balance, I'm walking and getting around just fine without it. The ball of your foot seems to be the key. Still have not resumed tapdancing lessons and soccer practice (and I was so aching to go up against Beckham in the Olympics, too).
Anyway, I am going to try and catch up a little, so expect to see two or three posts (I'm still in usenet mode, it seems) entries after this one.

For the April Participation banners at
still_grrr, I made macros for the 'verses. Well, I thought they were so funny, I turned them into just regular old 'verses macros. So under the cut, enjoy 11 screencaps with poor grammar and spelling skills.
( i can haz macroz? )
So I read the headline in
news that they're bringing back Basic Accounts.
Then I read on my friendslist that they're not really the old-fashioned Basic Accounts like I have, they have ads, like the intermediate account type between Basic and Paid that was brought out about a year ago.
Then I'm editing at one of my old entries, and I see ads.
It'd prolly be a minimal amount of research for me to find this out myself, but it's partly a rhetorical question:
So, is there any point anymore to me not upgrading to the intermediate ad-based account type, for the additional features - or does it exist any more? (If not, do I now have the additional features along with the ads?)
Edit On second look, it's the new sitemap I'm looking at. I took it for GoogleAds.

List ten fictional characters you would have sex with (in no particular order) and tag 5 people to do the same.
1. Angel (BtVS/AtS)
2. Booth (Bones)
3. Spike (BtVS/AtS)
4. Mal (Firefly)
5. Mr. Darcy (Pride and Prejudice either the book or the A&E version)
6. Hodgins (Bones)
7. Westley (AtS)
8. Mulder (The X-Files)
9. House (House)
10. Dr. Cox because he makes me laugh so hard even though he isn't that great looking (Scrubs)
Uh, for tagging:
hmsharmony
lerdo
tuacantante
amyrat151
And anyone else on my list who wants to do it. Spread the sexyness, people!
And on a related meme, 10 television characters (and I'm doing 5 males and 5 females) that you are thankful for.
2. Cordelia Chase from Buffy/Angel
3. Buffy Summers from Buffy
4. Tara from Buffy
5. Dana Scully from The X-Files
6. Seeley Booth from Bones
7. Fox Mulder from the X-Files
8. Dr. Cox from Scrubs
9. Spike from Buffy/Angel
10. Angel from Buffy/Angel
Is it sad that the entire male portion of this list are also on the above list?
</div> Edit: Also, I added darling_pips to my tagged people list but for some odd reason it didn't add here. So yeah, I'm not an idiot. I really did tag 5 not 4.
When I went to visit the house today, Mom found a bag with 2 boy shirts she had bought a few years ago that were never used. So later when we went to Central Park, we saw two little boy shoe shiners. Sadly, this is a common thing in Guatemala. A lot of times the children have to work to support the family. We went up to the two boys (both of them had hands that were stained black from the shoe stuff) and we gave them the shirts. They were so happy! You could tell they didn't get new clothes much because they kept stroking the tags. Now I feel really good.
Sorry for not posting. I haven't had much time to go on the computer, and when I do it's only enough time to read my friend's page and check my email. Plus, I really suck at describing things. Which figures, considering how much I love writing.
On another note, I'm thinking of getting a paid account so I can do the 100 icons thing. 15 isn't enough for me. Seriously, I'm addicted to collecting icons. I have hundreds saved on my computer. I just have to convince my mom. After that I need to figure out how to do mood icons here. I want either an Angel/Cordelia or Booth/Brennan mood icon.
Oh, and for the first time in a very long time I'm excited about writing again. Lately it's felt more like an obligation than something I enjoy doing, you know? But a few days ago I came up with a Bones series idea, and I am very happy about it. I started writing it with my friend, but she's kind of uncomfortable with the idea of writing fanfic for something that's not a book., So yeah, that's kind of a hassle. On the subject of Bones, a few days ago I bought the entire first season of Bones at the mercado for only 90 Q, which is a little under 10 dollars. They didn't have season 2 though, so I plan to buy it on amazon when I get back. And they had Buffy, but only season 1. I asked if they had seaons 2,3, and 5 (my favorites) and they said that they'd have them by tomorrow. Of course, it's Guatemala, so it'll take longer.
I just love how cheap everything is here.
Here we go! This one ends on a bit of a cliffhanger I'm afraid...Try not to be too mad with me!!!!!!! *tease tease* :D
Previous parts here.

Such doofuses! How I love 'em!

Summary: The one criticism of Journey's End I can't ignore is that both Rose and Donna, in their ultimate fates, were (as someone on my friendslist put it) denied their own agency - the Doctor decreeing and executing their fates for them without asking and ignoring any stated objections. I already fixed that for Donna; but Rose's was trickier.
