Week 79 - Challenges 1&2
First, a note about the change to our spoiler policy! According to our poll, a pretty big majority of members here would prefer for the spoiler challenge to cover all Season 4 material. So, as of this challenge, that means that everything from Seasons 1-3 is fair game for inclusion in the regular challenges.

(I realized after posting the poll that I should have also asked what you guys wanted to do about 'Razor' - my instinct suggests that it should be non-spoilery, as it's out on DVD now and has been for a few months. If you disagree, please let me know in a comment - if lots of people feel differently, we'll keep in in Challenge 3-land only.)

Now, on to this week's challenges!

Challenge 1 - Blends

For this challenge, we want to see icons that involve blending two or more base images (you may use the same image more than once, if you want). By a blend, I mean that it blurs the edges between the images so that they flow into one another, or otherwise strives to make them look like part of the same picture. Here are some examples of icons that show blends:

On the other hand, these icons (all by me) are NOT blends, even though they combine multiple images, because they don't try to make the images look like they're part of one another.

Challenge 2 - Smile!

For this challenge, we want to see smiles! Someone in the icon has to be smiling - that's the only restriction, otherwise it's up to you :)

As usual, you may submit up to three icons for each of the challenges. Icons must be 100x100 or smaller. All entries must be submitted by Wednesday, April 23rd at 11PM US EST (The Timezone Converter). This week's special vote will be Best Colour.
