| About: | This community is for icon makers to post up their bases for others to snag and use for either their own personal use or for still contests.. anything you place in this community is for grabs, if you are the one to use any of these bases please do not place them into another base community, livejournal or website and claim them as your own. they are to be used for icon making purpose only. [+] All Bases are customizable [+] Do not Hotlink/Steal only the following bases can be submitted to the community, all things sailormoon from the following, Manga, Anime, Musical & Live action are acceptable. Fanart and doujinshi are not. This can also feature actors and actresses from the series out of character. All characters are allowed in this community. Posting Please use an LJ-cut if you post more than three icons. If you want to post from your own personal livejournal please give us some sort of teaser as to the bases we would be seeing. Please state if your site is a friends only site, and please link to the post itself and not to your main livejournal page. Hotlinking please do not hotlink this is a bad bad thing, for everyone, try going to Photobucket.com and get an account its free and a wonderful thing to have for graphics. Even though this is a base community people still like to direct link and this is a great way to save yourself some bandwidth. Comments Please be considerate if you are going to use a bases that is posted in the community, comment on the snag, and even if you don't snag, everyone loves to hear someone elses opinions of their work, bases need love too. but please be kind. What are Bases an Icon base shows only the basic in subject and croping, please try to refrain from centering your subject on the icon, for its hard to use text or other attributes in creating a good Icon. Please do not place text or borders upon Icons, this community is for Bases only Examples here are a few examples of a good base and not so good bases. As you can see the left icon has space for the user to place text or other graphics on the icon, where as the one on the right, mostly has the picture of the subject, this leaves little to the imagination to the user.   Be creative, chose one picture and see how many bases you can get out of it.. the more the better.
