Yeah, 'Souls is/maybe mySQL erroring and not working at the moment. This is kind of variable, so everyone might not be seeing the error. I'm pretty sure I know what the issue is and have already contacted our host about it (Twitterspammed them), so please just bear with it a while while I get it sorted out.

It broked agains ;.; I keep getting a network timeout message from Firefox whenever I try to load (or it will just sit there loading and loading and nothing happens). I know Requiem is having problems too D:

Both bleeding-souls.com and soulsrpg.com should now be working. Sorry again about all the inconvenience. Presumably, this will never have to happen again because we're not getting another name change. XD

This is also a reminder that this LJ community should be the first place to look if you're having problems with the board. This will be the first place I'll post if something happens, etc. Even if you don't have an LJ account, you should be able to view all relevant announcements here, etc. :3

'Souls can be accessible right now at SOULSRPG.com. The bleeding-souls.com domain should be working again in an hour or two. Sorry for the suddenness. I totally thought I could do this smoothly with no bumps in downtime at the old domain. D;

The soulsrpg.com domain is going to be the main domain for the game from now on, though once bleeding-souls.com is up again, it should remain working until it expires in May. Please try to just use the soulsrpg.com domain from now on though since we're obviously trying to phase out of the old one. Whenever you have time, it'll be a good idea to edit profiles, postlogs, websites, and whatever else that includes hardcoded URLs from the old address to the new one. You have seven months' leeway, but don't put it off to the last minute!

Once again, sorry about the suddenness of all this. I was completely expecting to be able to make the announcement after the soulsrpg.com domain was added because I wasn't expecting there to be any downtime during the switch.

Our host is currently experiencing some problems on the server that 'Souls is on. They've actually said that the issue was resolved as of yesterday, but that doesn't seem to be the case, and we aren't the only ones on the server still having problems. I'll keep digging around to see what's up. Sorry for the downtime, but there isn't much we can do right now.

We're sorry it came so suddenly, or rather that it came at all. We did what we could with what we were given and it seems we couldn't do good enough. I hope you all at least had a little fun at some point while we had the board open and I'm sorry, again, that it all came down to this.

Hm. So today, I've been getting some 403 Forbidden errors:

You don't have permission to access /forum/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

It seems to go away if you refresh the page once or twice (or multiple times), but it IS still annoying. I checked all the files and they're fine... and the error seems to appear more frequently in Firefox than on IE... Right now, I'm hoping it's just me and/or it'll go away by itself. But is anyone else having this problem?

Didn't think about it until now. I just wanted to let people know that I'm going to be away for a week or two, very scarce at the least, because my son has come down with Pneumonia, which isn't getting along with his asthma. Good news, guys. I've finished transferring everything to the new host (with a little code help from Amber's boy again). Everything seems to be fine and in working order, so I'm just waiting for the nameservers to update and point to the new host. This normally completes in 24-48 hours, so a day or two. :(

I've noticed that despite being a (were)wolf rpg, not many of our headers have wolves or coyotes on them. Should the next header I make feature a wolf of some sorts? Or multiple wolves? Or -gasp- a wolf and a coyote?

Colours? Themes? Pictures? Ideas?
