Hasbro Toys
Well, the toys are coming and I couldn't be more excited. I decided to go outta my way and take the time to post this cuz I didn't know about it until just recently! Thought you all would be impressed. Here's the press release as well as some photos:

TITANIUM SERIES EXPANDS TO INCLUDE NEW OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD DIE-CAST VEHICLES AND FIGURES FROM STAR WARS, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA AND TRANSFORMERS

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (February 2006) – Intergalactic spaceships that are powerful enough to shuttle heroes and villains across a variety of sci-fi universes at the speed of light are now small enough to fit in your hand (or on your bookshelf). Hasbro’s TITANIUM SERIES, a line of die-cast collectibles featuring intricate micro-detailing and action features, will be available nationally in early 2006 and is expanding to include new 3” vehicles, 3.75” figures and TRANSFORMERS robots!

The first wave in January 2006 will feature the following Star Wars 3” vehicles: speeder bike (with Imperial scout trooper and features a rotating gun turret); Republic Attack Cruiser (with working landing gear); Clone Turbo Tank (with working wheels); and a Limited Edition White TIE fighter (with opening cockpit). Each vehicle comes complete with a display stand.

Also available in January 2006 will be the TITANIUM SERIES Ultra Vehicles. These hefty die-cast vehicles feature moveable action features and include a premium display case. The first vehicles available are the ARC-170 Starfighter (with opening cockpit) and the Trade Federation Droid Fighter (with rotating cockpit).

Darth Vader and Boba Fett will be the first Star Wars 3.75” figures available from the TITANIUM SERIES Collection. The intricately micro-detailed figures each include a custom base and premium display case and will be available in March 2006. Collectors will be interested in limited-edition versions of each figure featuring a patina finish.

Throughout the year, the TITANIUM SERIES universe will continue to expand with the addition of vehicles and figures from TRANSFORMERS and Battlestar Galactica: The expansions will feature the following:

TITANIUM SERIES die-cast collectibles, to be introduced in July 2006, will include a variety of unique 3” robots as well as fully changeable 6” robots. Each one comes with a display base.

The TITANIUM SERIES Battlestar Galactica line will be available in June 2006 and will include 3” vehicles and 3.75” figures from both the classic and new TV series.

The TITANIUM SERIES Collection vehicles and figures will be available at toy stores and mass merchandise outlets nationwide. Suggested retail price for the collection: 3” vehicles and robots: $4.99; 3.75” figures and 6” robots: $15.99; and ultra vehicles: $19.99. Recommended for children ages 4 and up.

BattlestarGalactica is licensed by Universal Studios Consumer Products Group, a unit of NBC Universal. Inspired by the classic series, Battlestar Galactica is one of television's most critically-lauded shows and is currently in its second original season, airing on SCI FI Channel every Friday night at 10pm ET/PT, and has just been renewed for a third season of 20 additional original episodes.

The pods retract. I know because I bought one this morning.

I don't know why they said these would be available in June...they are showing up at WalMart NOW! The first three Galactica releases are packed in with the Star Wars Titanium vehicles.

The first three are all from the new series:
Galactica
Cylon Raider
Viper Mk II (Incorrectly labeled as a Mk VII)

Good Hunting!

Your bad? Jesus does any male on the PLANET know how to APOLOGIZE anymore? The only thing BAD, dude, is your GRAMMAR. Be a man people, and LEARN how to admit you're wrong, instead of HIDING behind word games...

As the other person said, WHO CARES from where the pics came, so long as people can be made aware that the items exist and further promote the series.

I think you could be arguing about something a bit more constructive than giving credit for some stupid fucking pictures.

If you're going to post the pictures, at least have the decency to CREDIT where the pix came from--in this case, rebelscum.com.

FYI,
BS

Finally saw these yesterday (6/27/06) over at the local Target. For $4.99 US. Hey some new Marvel figures are out and they are only $7.83 over at WalMart. Paying $5 bucks for a hunk of metal is not for me. So I got the Marvel figures instead!!! Alot more play plus a piece of a larger figure to boot!

(Reply to this) (Parent)

$15.99 for a 3.75" figure!!

The only metal I really like is music!!!!
If these are metalized action figures then cool but just metal figures
that just sit there and probably in their package because everyone will be hoping to rack in the big bucks 50 years from now (or actually next week!! when they first come out! ??)
Personally I would rather spend that kind of money on models that you snap together and can paint or even pre-painted snap togethers and have then set up in proportion!!! Imagine a 3 foot BattleStar!!!
That would be KOOL hanging from the rafters!!!
So when do the REAL ACTION FIGURES appear!!!! Plastic or metalized plastic that walk and maybe with sound chips!!! Right!

New Raider, Raptor, Galactica, Figures!!!!

Sweet after all that time of having 2 three inch vipers i finnaly have something to fracking shoot!! And there gonna make a raptor!!! Are they going to make like a raptor that fits the figures cause that would be cool with a squad of marines and maybe Starbuck amd a group of cylons to fight! Man i bought a galactica at Target all they had but the detail and design are freaking sweet!! Well i got some raiders to frag, good hunting!
