Notes: A remix of frolicndetour 's AU ficlet Relief, that sort of became a "The Final Five learn to be empowered" fic. This 4-chapter story is a complete mini-plot, but the second half of the arc will be in a separate story and is not finished yet. This fic was a fascinating project for me in that there is no focus on Kara and only very slight on Sam and Dee (my three pivot characters), and also deals with characters who, while not evil (in fact I love them dearly), make mistakes and don't necessarily regret all of them.
