Notes: I’m playing in the universe I began in The Starbuck Tradition, which serves as Episode 0 for this series. It’s only a short one part fic, and I encourage you to read it first but it’s not necessary. All you need to know is that it soothes my dissatisfaction that Kara did nothing to help Helo in the Pegasus arc. In this Universe she does, and consequently Cain surrenders peacefully and retires, relinquishing command to Bill.
