Name/Nickname: Sunshine (that’s not my real name, but I think it kind of sums up my essence). Age: 20 Yourself in 3 words: spiritual, passionate, exuberant Strengths: compassion/kindness toward others, friendly, try to keep hopeful and optimistic in situations, direct/straightforward (sometimes too much, though!), good sense of humor, good with writing and music, good student, not afraid to go against the mainstream or take a chance to meet a potential friend Weaknesses: I can be a worrier. I tend to get jealous easily, and pine for being the center of attention and the one “on top”- I guess that makes me a bit competitive, in my own way. I’m sensitive to criticism and tend to put a lot of pressure on myself. I have a tendency to be a bit blunt or outspoken in some situations. Likes: This doesn’t really begin to cover everything.... beaches, sunshine, big cities (particularly NYC), tall gigantic buildings, music, traveling, anything out of the ordinary and mysterious, burning candles (I love the cinnamon ones), good food, shopping, making future plans, writing, reading, biking, running, canoeing, hiking, dancing, eating out, making people laugh, or just knowing that I’ve done something to make them feel good, December (the best month ever!), going out, having fun, trying new things, etc. It’s safe to say that I’m far less than a genius at common sports, but kicking a ball around or (trying) to hit one with a racket every now and then is a good way to let out my energy. My next ambition: snowboarding, because I like fast sliding and gliding. Pet-Peeves: when people are flighty or disorganized, or unreliable, crudeness, self-righteousness, narrow-mindedness, dreary weather, negative attitudes Hobbies: reading, writing, going outdoors, singing, dancing, listening to music, going out with friends How would you describe your personal style? I can’t- it varies. Well, usually it’s casual but stylish. My mom likes to call my style “elegant,” and “classy,” which I think is true. I love clothes, earrings, and always like to look my best, but I’m not an ardent follower of the latest or most popular fashions. My closet contains nearly every outfit from sporty to sophisticated.
FAVORITES
Food: I love food; how can I possibly list all my favorites? I’m a fan of fine dining, but typically like stuff such as Italian, rice, salads, good seafood, well-prepared chicken meals, good fruit, etc. I also love asparagus and other fresh veggies.
Snack: chocolate, popcorn, spicy cinnamon candy, ice cream, cookies, cake, delicious smoothies, red Twizzlers…pretty much everything! Well, definitely not black licorice….ugh!

Sitting Charge and Why? Karen! I’ve always liked her because she’s so entertaining to read about. She’s got a great imagination and really stands out! Let’s face it; reading about a kid who’s always good can be boring. Minor Character and Why? Anyone who was different from the mainstream: Ashley Weyth, Morbidda Destiny, Tess Swinheart, and Janine Kishi. BSC pairing and Why? Is this supposed to mean boyfriend/girlfriend pairing? Because none of the guys in the BSC particularly impress me, so it’s hard to say (I know, I know- I’m picky). Wait…actually, I thought Will and Claudia from Summer Vacation were a good pair. I think it’s actually too bad that their relationship hadn’t developed more. Out of all the other guys Claudia liked, Will seemed to have the most in common with her, and I thought he was a pretty nice, sensitive, down-to-earth guy. There was just something about him that seemed appealing. As far as regular friendship goes, I would definitely pick Jessi and Mallory. They seem like true, loyal friends who stick together no matter what. I admire the closeness they have with one another. BSC Book? Definitely Stacey’s Mistake. Favorite BSC vacation spot? New York City, with anything involving the beach following close behind. LEAST favorite BSC Character and why? Cokie, of course, followed closely by Alan. Cokie’s mean-spirited and Alan’s really immature and can be mean sometimes. My least favorite in the club? I don’t really dislike any of the sitters, but in a lot of later books I find myself wanting to shake my head at Kristy for her over-seriousness and dictatorial style.
