Title: Summertime Fandom: Backstreet Boys Prompt: #114 - Seychelles for tamingthemuse Warnings: AU Rating: PG-13 Summary: Summertime was dancing, pressed hip-to-hip against another man to music from the nineties with a good beat and terrible lyrics, and remembering a night when he was sixteen and kissed someone he shouldn't have. ( Late at night, things I thought I put behind me hold my mind. I just know there's no escape now, once it's set its eyes on you. )On another note, I've been looking for a fic I read a while back. I'm really new to this fandom (see: I'm into a lot of heavy metal, and, as of four months ago, the Backstreet Boys. Well, my music taste is a lot more diverse than that, but it's much more amusing to say it that way.), and I'm pretty sure it's a really old fic. Kevin was independently famous, and Nick had been in love with him forever. Nick made it big doing whatever he was doing, and they had a TV appearance together regarding the environment. Nick said something really brilliant, and Kevin was rather pissed at being shown up, so he said something really nasty to Nick on national televsion, which broke Nick's heart. Kevin ended up making a public apology, but it didn't help any, and he finally saw Nick again at this concert. He'd gone to request a song, as a VIP, but found that someone else had already requested it, and it was Nick. He tried to apologize to Nick again, but Nick walked out before his song was played. In the end, Kevin brought Nick an entire crate of coconuts. Riiiiiiight. That sounds like a lot worse of a fic than it was when I put it like that. It was actually really good. Wow, it's been a while since I've posted anything, and last time I didn't know how to lj-cut. Lets hope I get it right this time, if not, Deb you're gonna have to come rescue me. I'm hopeless! Alright, update on Seria: I'm still going at it. The more I wrote about the original story, the more I wanted to right a prequel. So, I'm working on that, and have just kinda skidded to a hault on it. I'll be picking it up again soon though, don't worry. In the mean time, I wanted to post one of my older writings that was just a small little thing without much content/meaning, just to let you know I'm still here.
