Brooke's performance ; "Jolene" ; April 1st 2008
What were your thoughts on her performance this week? Did she deserve to be in the bottom three? Post all your thoughts here! Here's the performance in case you missed it/want to see it again.
My thoughts: I think this wasn't her best performance, but I still liked it. I think the reason it lead her to the bottom three was because she didn't really add anything new or anything that would've made us go "wow!", plus she was the first one to perform which is always a tough spot. I also agree with Simon (I think it was Simon?) about the band looking kinda weird, I think it would've looked better if it would have been only the violin and Brooke with her guitar. The others kinda made the stage look crowded and messy. I'm torn about the bottom three, I was kind of hoping Sayisha (how the hell you spell that name) or Jason would've rather been on it instead of Brooke, but like I said it wasn't her best performances this week and there were alot of other good ones, so maybe it was justified. But I definately don't want to see her there again, so let's hope she puts on a great show next week!
