 | 11:52 pm - BX12 Select The BX12 Limited no longer exists! What do you think of the new BX12 Select?
I appreciate that they're trying to shorten the 55 minute trip from Inwood to Co-Op City, but I think it's going to take a few weeks to break in.
I'm not sure how I like having separate stops for the Local and Express stations. :/
And they really need to put a sidewalk in between White Plains Road and the westbound stop that is supposedly for it. It's really now much more of a Boston Road stop than a White Plains Rd stop.

 | 04:06 pm - Bronx car inspection place? Can anybody recommend a good place to do auto inspections (and someday possibly repairs) around Parkchester (Bronx on the 6 train around East Tremont)? I went to a few places for the free insurance inspection that felt a bit shady and pat-the-little-girl-on-her-head-and-ignore-her... I don't want to be ripped off or roped into repairs I don't need. My car is currently fine, but I do need the inspection and want to have a place in the area in case of emergencies. Thanks!

 | 09:45 am Name: Savanna Where exactly in the Bronx do you live?: Soundview/Castle Hill area. White Plains Rd. and Lafayette to be exact. I'm also in the Bedford Park area a lot. Favorite places to go shopping/hang out: Shopping: Fordham, Cross Country, or White Plains but that's really deep. Hang out: If I'm staying in the Bronx then MiGente. I've never been to XBar/Sofa Lounge which I've heard was pretty good or really any other club in the Bronx. I like going out to clubs in the city like Webster Hall, 40/40, Duvet or LQ's, but nothing's been the same to me since Exit and Deep closed. Any suggestions? Fun activities/Hobbies: Hanging out with my friends, dancing, writing, playing video games, reading, walking around the city. How long you have been living in the Bronx: 24 years!
Add me on MySpace if you want!

 | 12:47 am - Кан ю хелп ми? Kind day, ladies and gentlemen. I the Russian student, gather to you on a visit, to Bronx this summer. Well there language to learn, work, etc. In this connection there are some questions, and your help is necessary to me. Prompt, please: what at you cost of habitation (rooms, apartments, houses) in month or week? And where the habitation, what usual conditions exposed by the owner is better to remove?
P.s. I am sorry for my English - languages to me are given hardly.
P.p.s. And still... To Me, fairly, awkwardly to ask, but... You, in Bronx, have people with traditional sexual orientation?

 | 04:01 pm - Bronx greenmarket Back-on-the-block and Fresh-out-the ... ground. These veggies are soooooo fresh and cheap. It's so much better than jubilee and other downtown gourmet markets. (I just moved to the Bronx) The quality is high and the price is LOW. It's all from just 50 miles or so upstate. You hand your cash right to the farmer.
It's RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET every Tuesday. No matter how lazy you are you can get some good food. I stocked up on mad veggies for like ten bucks.
Go to Grand Concourse by the courthouse and walk one block south to the park.
Dinner tonight: New potatoes with Bacon, garlic and fresh spinach

Sadly, I just moved out of the Bronx for a new job. I still like to drive up and visit friends though. Can anyone suggest garages near Parkchester (on the 6) where my friend lives? Please advise. Thanks so much!
