Brokeback Mountain fandom history

If anyone could, the Brokeback Mountain article on Fan History could use a bit of help. The article is an attempt to write a comprehensive history of the Brokeback Mountain fandom. Areas that need work include creating a list of fandom specific terms, getting a list of influential fanworks, documenting any fights in the fandom and developing a timeline of events that took place in the fandom.

Fan History is also trying to create a comprehensive directory of members of the Brokeback Mountain fandom. There are currently 87 articles to that effect. It would be nice to those articles expanded and more articles added.

This story is another one of my canon ‘add-ins.’
“Warmest Week of the year” picks up after “Pine Creek,” in May 1968.
There isn’t a reference to 1968 in the book or the film.
So, this story is entirely pulled out of my crazy mind. ;)

Jack pressed down harder on top of Ennis, denim to denim, feeling their mutual need already overwhelming the two of them, picking up exactly where they’d left off that last night in September…first by the fire, and then two more times in the tent.

Jack leaned down and pressed Ennis firmly into the dirt, letting his full weight pin the man, reaching down to kiss him hard and hungrily, the earlier ache in his gut finally subsiding completely, now that he had this man in his arms at last.

“Warmest Week of the year” picks up after “Pine Creek,” in May 1968.

This chapter is one long flashback to Brokeback
focusing on the first week after FNIT.
I wanted to explore the possibilities of how things could have
developed for J & E, and also show emotional growth over time.
That is why the entire chapter is in italics,
with the exception of the final four paragraphs,
where we finally see who is having the flashback and why.

In the Middle of Winter…

This piece is a short little 300-word ‘transitional drabble’ written in response to 'Mainewriter's drabblefest challenge' on the 'Bettermost' website.

The challenge was to write a drabble focused on snow and bitter cold. What I came up with works out to be a perfect transitional piece between "Pine Creek" and "Warmest Week of the Year." So, I decided to post it here as well.
