A few basic guidelines:
- File-sharing is not permitted on Livejournal. Sorry, but any posts offering or asking for illegally-obtained files are not allowed. This is Livejournal's rule, not mine, so we have to be strict about it. Do not ask for or offer music files, bootleg videos, sheet music, or anything else illegally obtained in posts or comments. I mean it.
- Posts must be on-topic. My definition of "on-topic" is generally very liberal, but it should be related to Broadway or theatre in some way.
- Be respectful of different opinions. Hey, not everybody likes the same thing. That would be boring. But we can be polite about it. If I feel that you have stepped over that line, you will be warned. If you continue to do so, you will be banned. I don't want to do that, but this is a place for ALL fans, no matter what their age or tastes.
- LJ-cut is your friend. If your post contains a lot of images, is potentially non-worksafe, or is really long, place it behind a LJ-cut tag. If you don't know how to use LJ-cut, you can consult the Livejournal FAQ or ask a member of the community for help.
- Relevant community advertisements are OK. If you think it would be of interest to Broadway fans, go ahead and post it here.
