Well
I thought that due to a 1 vote difference, Vurt had won. however, Jodie who's book it is, can't make meeting. SO shall we read Don Quixote in July and then Vurt in August when Jodie and Jason are back?
What do people think?
Vurt: Jeff Noon
Don Quixote: Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra
Just as an extra little thing, this is annoying, amusing and depressing at the same time. Finally Done shortlist and 3 books got 3 votes each so i've gone for them
They are:
Vert: Jeff Noon
Frankenstein: Mary S
Don Quixote: Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra
There are 5 more on YouTube if you find these funny. :)
Here's the longlist for Biblios which has apparently been lost?!? Under the cut...

Most of you have met me (Dave from Cauda Pavonis). I'm nearly finished writing my first book. I'm going to try and not self deprecate on here but who'd be interested in giving me some constructive criticism on it. I'm either going to run it off on Lulu.com or get it vanity pressed or both. How do people want me to do this?? Print it off and give them a manuscript to read or would you be willing to pick it up and pay a little off Lulu or whatever? If the concensus is that you're interested then we can discuss it further - perhaps I'll drop a chapter onto paper with the blurb once the editing is finished to see if you enjoy the style. Thoughts!?

To those who are around for the meeting (jealous moi?)
After some discussion about the smallness of the group this month, it is suggested that the meeting is held at Pat's house. Not being a liberty to devolve others addresses online, if you need to know where Pat lives please email her. If people need a lift to fishponds, shout on the board and someone may be able to oblige.
Pat has kindly suggested a bbq (weather permitting). This means some fairly definite numbers are needed for this so if you could rsvp here or on the email list, that would be fab.
