Did anyone else notice in the last episode that at the elimination the judges all commented that she looked a mess, and the night before the "lisa mail" had said make sure you look good, so why did everyone else dress up but she didnt? Do we think she was told not to dress up so the judges could have a go? Possibly n=justg me over analysing but I thought id point it out an see what everyone else thought. xxx

'Britain's Next Top Model': The new judges

The most glamorous show on TV is back - with two new judges. Gerry DeVeaux is a contributing style editor for Tatler who's worked with everyone from Kylie Minogue to Naomi Campbell, while Huggy Ragnarsson is a supermodel-turned-photographer who's been in the fashion industry for more than 25 years. We caught up with the uber-chic duo to find out how they're coping with the Britain's Next Top Model experience.

What made you want to be a judge on Britain's Next Top Model?
Huggy: "My daughter, actually. She said, 'Mum, you should do it because you were a model and you've been in the industry since you were 16, so you could give great information'. Besides, she thought it would be great to take the mickey out of me on TV!"
Gerry: "They asked me, and they asked me a lot."

Have you watched the show in the past?
Huggy: "I have actually. I think being in the industry I watched it with different eyes - I was always thinking what I'd be doing differently - but I was always a fan."
Gerry: "No. I liked the American one, but I didn't watch the British one because, I'm gonna be really honest with you, I didn't like the British one. Of course I like it a lot more now because I'm on it."

Why didn't you like it?
Gerry: "I didn't like the judging table. It's crap."

Have you tried to get rid of it?
Gerry: "Well, I'm gonna tell you that I've fought enough to try to change it. To me, if you're going to make a show about style, you can't have a table without any style. It goes against every fibre in my being, that table."

What do you think of the calibre of contestants?
Gerry: "They're fabulous - they definitely made up for the lack of design in the table."
Huggy: "When you see the girls come out, they are so sweet! They're all so nervous because some of them have never even stood in front of the camera, but the calibre of the girls is extraordinary and what they've achieved is tremendous."

What's the atmosphere like on the new judging panel?
Gerry: "I get on well with Huggy and Lisa. I think they're fabulous, but I'll tell you that we don't always agree. We all have strong opinions so there are days when we do agree and days when we absolutely don't agree. I think that's what makes the show interesting."
Huggy: "We're all strong personalities, but all we love and respect each other, so we're comfortable enough to agree to disagree."

What's the biggest misconception about being a model?
Huggy: "That it's easy. It's difficult to be judged on your physical appearance and not take it personally, because there's nothing you can do to change your product other than surgery or reincarnation I guess! Rejection's hard for anybody, let alone a young person trying to get out there in the world."
Gerry: "People probably think it's a really easy job. Even the girls who come into the competition don't realise how much work is required. They think it's just a matter of walking in high heels and posing for a picture, but if that were true, anybody could do it. Why do you think there are so few top models? I think the girls realise this from the very first photo shoot: 'Uh oh! This is gonna be harder than we thought'."

Finally, is the modelling industry as bitchy as it can seem?
Gerry: "Well, girls will be girls. That's all that I'm gonna say!"
Huggy: "You know, it can be. I guess it depends on how much of a threat you are. I did a fashion show once and a girl actually took my shoes. I was like, 'What the heck?' We weren't there for ourselves, we were there because we were employed by the designer to be there. There are some bitches out there, but sometimes it's true that the bigger the bitch, the bigger the threat you are."

Remember Lucy Flower from cycle 2? Chick with the bowl cut? I found a random myspace page, claiming to be hers although the age on it is wrong, it had a lot of pictures.

And cycle 4.......

Cycle 4 will kick off in spring 2008. Clare Hollywood, Head of Commissioning LIVING said: “Britain’s Next Top Model is now a hotly anticipated part of LIVING’s annual schedule, and coming into its fourth series, it will be bigger, bolder and sexier than ever. Now established as the ultimate model show on UK television, BNTM remains compelling viewing with a really exciting mix of personalities and looks from all the models, a fantastic new panel line up and more high profile, glamorous contributors than ever before.” Cycle 4 will see some changes like new higher-profile judges including Icelandic Supermodel Huggy Ragnarsson and world-renowned fashion stylist, designer and photographer, Gerry Deveaux, once described by Naomi Campbell as "daring, adventurous and chic". In some pictures that have leaked the internet the judging room looks more High - Fashion than previous seasons cycle 4 also looks like it has got a bigger budget. The prizes have also been given a revamp and consist of a £1 million Modelling contract with Models 1, a 6 page editorial spread and cover of Company Magazine and a £100,000 cosmetics contract with international cosmetics company, Max Factor.

In cycle 1, the girls did a pop video for one of their challenges. I think it was episode 3. Does anyone know what the name of the song is and the artist who sings it? I've looked on google and haven't come up with any results. Anything will help!

Hey y’all…
A few weeks ago I posted on here telling you that I would be doing a shoot with Steff from Britain’s Next Top Model……… Well here are the pics. She asked me to take them for her portfolio but she tells me she doesn’t think she would have a chance at being a high-fashion model…i beg to differ and I hope these photos prove it a bit. Shes an absolutely lovely girl despite how she may be edited on the show and it was a pleasure working with her. Shes very profesional and was very chatty. She told me who wins randomly so I was like nnnnnoooooo! You spoiled it for me! But I got over that pretty quickly lol. Thank you for everyone with the great ideas you had and I will be doing another shoot with her very soon so if you have more ideas for what I could do let me know.

May add some more soon :) let me know what you think...remember im only 18 so be easy on me lol!

So this week the girls had a proper modelling job for Mamas and Papas. There are 2 sets of photos - the ones for the M&P catalogue and the ones used at panel. For the catalogue shoot they had to pose with baby bumps on so the cropping the website does is pretty dumb cos they lose the desired effect.

They also did a rock video for some band I haven't heard of and Louise had a tantrum about her outfit and dancing.

Sorry this isn't antm related but i thought because it relates to ntm i could post it anyway.

I'm doing a photo shoot with Stef from Britain's next top model sometime this week which is really exciting and i wondered if anyone had any ideas as to what sort of shoot i could do..i have a few ideas but i know there are some very creative people out there who probably have some great ideas so let me know :D

please no spiteful messages towards Stef and i will post the pictures as soon as possible :)

-Good photoshoot concept but poor execution and photoshop job. None of the photos look 'modelly' at all, the ALL look like girls playing at being models. That being said I still love Lucy so STFU PHANG I DON'T CARE IF HER ARSE LOOKS BIG.

-Pretty good makeovers. Lucy's looks like Rebecca's from CNTM 2 but better. Lots of shorter hair this year.

-LMAO @ Stefanie now having ADHD. That whole part was hilarious.
