This community is open to membership for all lovers of the special breed of rock music created in the British Isles.

Now for the rules (sorry, but it has to happen).....
1. Keep all posts on topic. If you want to post eBay links, new communities, pictures of yourself, etc., that's fine...but they must relate directly to the topic at hand. Any posts that veer too far away from the business of the community will be deleted.
2. No quiz results or memes, please! Save those for your personal journal.
3. We welcome pictures of our favorite artists, but if the picture is very large, or you are posting more than one, please use the handy lj cut. (Not sure how to use the lj cut? Click here.)
4. We are totally mellow about members cross-posting between here and other communities. You don't even have to mention it if you don't want to. Feel free to post whatever fits here, regardless of how many other places you post it.
5. All lovers of Britrock are welcome here. In order to maintain an atmosphere of welcome and community, there are to be no posts or comments of a political nature. All posts or comments containing such matter will be deleted. If you persist in such activity, then you clearly don't belong here and you will be banned. We want everyone to feel welcome here, whether you vote Republican, Democrat, Labour, Conservative, or whatever else works for you.

6. Absolutely no slurs, flaming, or derogatory posts or comments will be tolerated. This includes any posts or comments that are racist, sexist, homophobic, ageist or anti-child, mocking individual lifestyle choices (including political affiliation, reproductive choices, and religion), or otherwise prejudicial or damaging to others. ANYONE who violates this rule even once will be banned from this community, and will not be permitted to return. We're here to have fun and discuss our favorite music, not tear each other down and create divisions. To put it simply...heated debate is fun, educational, and wonderful, but be polite and respectful. Trolls are NOT welcome here.
