Posting Guidelines

1. Have fun and play nice.
Please treat your fellow members with common decency and good manners. Offensive behavior will not be tolerated here. Also, please do not swear in your posts. Let's keep it clean.


2. Plz do not type like this. its hard 2 read & understand. thx.
Keep netspeak to a minimum. It's hard to read and can be rather annoying when overused. A few LOL's and such are alright, but don't make posts that require a decoder ring to read.


3. LJ-CUTs are beautiful things.
Use a lj-cut if you post more than 3 icons or if your post includes an animated icon.


4. A little teasing goes a long way.
Post teaser icons. Please post atleast one (1) teaser icon so members can see what the icons look like before clicking for more. Please do not post more than three (3) teaser icons in your post. Even if your post is a multifandom one, your teaser icons must all be of British Boys.


5. A picture is worth a thousand words.
Only post icons to this community. Do not post brushes, textures, gradients or other types of icon resources here. That also includes other non-icon graphics, such as friends-only banners, headers, wallpaper, and fanart. All of these things are considered off-topic.


6. Variety is the spice of life.
Multifandom posts are now allowed, but they must contain atleast 50% British Boys. If you would like to link to a multifandom post in your journal, 50% of the icons in that post must be of British Boys. If the total number of British Boy icons is less than 50%, please post those icons directly to the community itself.


7. Don't lock the rest of us out.
Do not link to icons in a locked journal. When linking to a personal journal or community, be sure to link to a public post.


8. Hotlinking is very, very naughty!
Do not hotlink! When snagging icons made by other members, always save the image to your computer, then upload it to your livejournal userpics. If you need a place to upload your icons, try places like Photobucket, who let you upload, store, and link to your image files. And don't forget to credit the icon-maker for their hard work!


9. No need to advertise.
Do not post promotions to other journals or communities. Do not post promotions to anything, no matter what. The only acceptable promotions are those made by the community's maintainer.


10. British = England, Scotland, and Wales.
I repeat, British = England, Scotland, and Wales. British does not mean French, American, or any other nationalities that are not England, Scotland, and Wales.

Posts that do not follow these rules will be deleted without warning. Repeat offenders will be placed on a 30 day suspension. If the rule-breaking continues once the suspension is over, said offender will be removed from the community.
