I just got back from the game!! The game was amazing, the crowd was amazing...hands down the best game I've ever been to.

Highlights:
- Good Bush showed up!! No wait, make that Great Bush!!! I think he surpassed everyone's expectations. We were on our feet for almost every pitch he threw, and the atmosphere was electric.
- Weeks left the game early. Counsell in.
- The pitching for the Phillies was horrendous. Lots of walks. They loaded the bases a few times but unfortunately the Brewers failed to bring in the runs that they should have. At the very least it kept the game exciting.
- Good Gagne showed up. I didn't know that Good Gagne existed, but there he was.
- They gave out free stuff. We got vouchers for free season 2008 Highlight DVDs and we also got towels.

It was about the 6th inning of tonigh'ts game. The phone rang. I looked on the caller ID. It said "US Cellular" along with a number I didn't recognize. I picked it up and no one answered. I heard nothing but noise. I hung up and tried to somehow check the number on the internet. I found out who it belonged to. It was my friend who was/is at the Brewer game. I thought it was very cool that he called me. I feel kinda bad for having hung up on him.

so i basically had to beg, barter, cheat & steal to hopefully get some goddamn standing room tix (meaning i think i'll get 'em at face value) for saturday's game.

two weeks ago, i was as negative as randy quaid's character, "johnny" in major league II and i didn't think that they even had a chance in hell at getting in the playoffs. even though they are carrying all of the same garbage plate performances that they had before, during and after the pirates and cubs series', i got that glimmer of hope after that incredible game on sunday. "maybe they are going to get hot like they were in august!", i said.

so basically what i'm trying to say is that they won when i constantly talked about how bad they sucked and then i was just so grateful that i was able to watch them in october and then they showed up in philly as the same ol' same ol' hitters that make a piece of crap like brett myers look unhittable against no other team other than the brewers.

so i'm hoping that my negativity pays off again. i'm planning to see something that looks like this on the miller park pitcher's mound on saturday.

I know the playoffs haven't happened for the Brewers in awhile, but does anyone know if they have some sort of fan giveaway at playoff games?

I just bought a Sabathia shirt in honor of the game, even though BUSH is going to be pitching. Let's hope the good Bush shows up and not the crummy one.

Just so you guys know, the Fan Zone store at Miller Park has been open, and will be open for the next 24 hours. They are doing drawings and trivia sessions every hour on the hour, prettymuch, and my roommate and I went at about 1 AM to hang out with the racing sausages!

It has been great to share the ups and downs of the past few seasons with all of you. I know we all have been emotionally broken at some point this year, but we kept trekking on and today made it all worth it.

This is a hell of a team we've got. It has been a great ride, lets get every last ounce of enjoyment out of it we can and stick behind our guys.
