Okay, so the unanimous decision has been to Close In Desolution.
As I said before, you guys have been great, and I hope you'll all keep in touch for future endeavors. ID's going to stay up, for archival purpose, obviously, so you don't need to worry about us deleting the comms or anything like that.

Hey guys. I know we've been silent several weeks since the mass of drops, and while I think everyone's silence speaks enough for the final outcome of this, I wanted to give everyone a fair opportunity to state their opinions on how we should finish this off. Mostly everyone has gotten tired of ID, I think. I think we've been slowly sliding down the slope for a while now, because we mods were ill-prepared when we opened the game and we had too few ideas as to how to create a substantial sub-plot to the game, while giving you all your freedom to grow and have your own plots.
We've been trying to force the game along for months now with spontanious plots, and we were, admittedly, discussing an endgame plot, although I think it'd probably just be in everyone's best interests to close ID down. We almost made it a year, and that's saying a lot since it was kind of a spontaneous idea thrown out into the wind.
So, I guess without a huge amount of bravado, should we close ID down, or try and finish it out? And if you choose to fight for it staying open, please give us some input on how we should proceed, how to encourage activity and not just let it trickle in, with the occasional spurt of "something to react to" rather than anyone actively doing anything.
Obviously, you all are a great bunch of players, and if we close ID down, we want to keep in touch with you all, in the event that we come up with a new game. We'd hate to lose any of you, and you all really are fantastic writers.
I'll leave this a few days, if I don't get any responses by Friday, or the majority is in favor of us closing down, I'll make another post with the official outcome. |

I'm sorry to say that I've officially dropped all of my characters in the game. I unfortunately don't have time to be on the internet anymore with school coming up, piled on top of my full-time job; not to mention that my internet access is being strictly limited.
This actually makes me just a little depressed because I really enjoyed playing here while I did, I think it was the best job I'd ever done at playing canon characters, and the most fun I'd ever had playing with other people and having such a diverse cast.

hello, kidlets.
I'm going to have to leave ID due to time-related purposes. my activity ever since the beginning of summer has been circling the drain, and was pretty much just jumping from hiatus note to hiatus note. and that's not right or fair. so I figure it's better to just cut the cord entirely. I'm sorry to leave because I know it fucks things up, but on the other hand, my life is moving in a wonderful new direction and I'm not going to let it pass me by.
ID was amazing and I hope that the beat goes on.
p.s. I wanted to say goodbye, so do me a favor and don't delete this. |

--that I announce my "Ah, hell, I can't possibly justify my decision to character-sit and not do anything" decision and decide to stop being horribly inactive. I'll be ducking out of ID, but I will be taking friends and a million pleasant memories.
A good portion of you don't know me and are probably wondering who the hell I am and why I'm bothering to make an entry at all, but I just want to thank all of you for being sweethearts and also for being awesome. ID has been the best LJ roleplay I've ever played on. (Especially, for me, due to the Air Gear and D.Gray-Man casts -- but I'm biased since that's those are the only casts with which I interacted heavily since I'm lame.) I'm very sorry I couldn't keep up and didn't interact more, and I'm certain I'll be even sorrier in a few months when I feel like roleplaying again and remember the awesome people I left behind.
;3; KEEP BEING COOL, OKAY. I might actually hunt some of you down at a future date when I'm feeling lonely and in need of people whose writing abilities I trust.

When he gets back in a few days, he'll be partway through the Jinchuu arc, through chapter 226 (i.e. the same chapter as Yahiko, so they'll finally be on the same page). |

Right, so, OOC notes to go with this.
The Sombrero Sentai, obviously, are the mariachi band Axl was putting together. For their debut performance, they will be dropping by the police station shortly and playing a very bad Latin-rhythmed rendition of "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" for Ky, and by "shortly" I mostly mean whenever Roni sees this.
As stated in the post, their services cost a few bucks. They will attempt basically anything and are always willing to filk the lyrics if you so desire.
If at any time you want to have them play for somebody, drop me a line wherever and I will go :DDDD at you a lot. (I'm hoping they get some stuff to do periodically and not just a bunch right at the beginning and then nothing for a while, so seriously, whenever you feel like it: DO IT PLEASE PLEASE.)
They will probably also occasionally pop up unsolicited and give free encouraging performances to people trying very hard at something, a la Elite Beat Agents. If you want them for that, let me know and I'll go :DDDD at that too! |

Mitsuru held a meeting tonight! I forgot to put a time on the post, but let's act like it was there.
Essentially, Mitsuru (and Nathan, sob, may we miss you ;.;) were planning on doing a city council sort of thing. She thinks there needs to be representation from all parts of the fictional people, just so long as they've proven themselves to be trustworthy. She would mention that she was more of an economical backer, someone interested in the businesses, while some would be interested in the food production, or school, or the welfare, or whatever. It's supposed to be pretty spread out, but this is me being idealistic and hoping we get characters from a myriad of factions.
ANYWAY. Even if you didn't comment, WHO WAS THERE, WHAT WENT ON. SO FORTH. Obviously, this will be a LARGELY UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPT AT CONTROLLING THEIR OWN LIVES, but hey, it's not like they didn't try. |

Hey kids, how y'all doin'? Just writing in to let y'all know that Harry is starting up the agency he had in Chicago here in Babylon. :) Harry's main talent is finding stuff (and getting his ass whooped, but that's another issue), and therefore this will be the primary function of his agency, but he'll also be consulting with the police on odd crimes and such, just as he did in Chicago back on his world. Harry will also be offering advice, consultation and protection (if possible) from supernatural forces, magic and the like since he's fairly well schooled. ;) Harry also has employed humanstrength to help him out, since he's also good at finding stuff...so he says. ;)
Harry will be making an announcement in-game later today with more details, just wanted to give y'all a heads up. :) Have a great day. :) |

My darlings, because so many people have gone on short trips, the Avatar cast's return is going to be delayed under further notice. There has been discussion with the mods, so no fears! ;_; If there are any problems, just let me know!

As of this comment, Hiyori and Zidane have vacated their premises and taken their little territorial spat city-wide.
Chances of property damage, sadly (for those of you in the audience who would go for that sort of thing), are low, unless anyone wants to volunteer a window or two for the wrecking; chances that characters will probably see the two monkeys jumping around over their heads and generally insulting each other's bathing habits, etc. are, however, HIGH.
If you want to note this, go ahead! Any law-enforcement officers or otherwise law-friendly forces who want to try and stop this, go ahead!
... keep in mind that unless you can actually catch either of them any attempt at putting a halt to their antics will not succeed unless they want it to, which may or may not happen, depending on how annoying Hiyori gets/how annoyed Zidane is with her being a jerkface who doesn't play well with other monkeys.
This will last until Hiyori gets bored of trying to kill Zidane and challenges him to a monkey-noise-making contest instead! So ... probably a couple hours or so. :D |
