Welcome to ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) breakthetreaty. This community is for fans who have ever entertained the thought of shoving Bella by the wayside and seeing what would happen if Edward Cullen and Jacob Black broke that sacred treaty between the vampire and the werewolves.
While this community is centred around the idea of Edward and Jacob as a romantic pairing please do not hesitate to post about them simply as friends or even as enemies. As long as those two characters are the focus of your work they're free to be posted here. There are, however, a few guidelines to check up on before posting.
01) Have a problem with slash or these characters being portrayed in a romantic light? Don't join or watch the community. Don't bring your hate here, we don't want it thanks.
02) All fics must have a proper header. This means:
·a title
·a pairing or notation of an absence of pairing
·a rating at the bare minimum.
A summary would be nice, too, and maybe indication of spoilers for Eclipse but as long as people reading know who's involved in the fic and what rating it is, it's gravy. If you post a fic without these three things you'll be asked to correct the header and then, if the post isn't fixed, we'll delete it.
03) If you're posting any art a rating would be nice, as well.
04) Icons are allowed, however, if you have a multi-fandom post please only post teasers with Edward/Jacob in them. If people are watching the comm for Edward/Jacob they don't care if you have House or Miley Ray Cyrus icons, too. If you have less than four Edward/Jacob icons please just post them to the community on their own rather than asking someone to go to your 50+ icon post and wait for 46 other icons to load before getting to the four Edward/Jacob ones. Mmmkay? You may crosspost for locked icon posts but you must warn for that in the crosspost. Failure to do so will result in your post being deleted immediately.
05) This is a community for Edward/Jacob but if you have a fic that features Edward/Jacob/Bella or Edward/Jacob/Whoever or Edward/Bella with Jacob UST or something you MAY post it here but the fic has got to have a heavy influence on the relationship between Edward/Jacob. They can't just exchange angry glances once in the fic and go about their respective ways.
06) Fanmixes are allowed, as well. Basically anything creative that reflects a relationship between Edward and Jacob is allowed. Meta is adored. Have an idea and you're not sure if it's appropriate here? Just ask!
07) Lj-Cuts are your friend. Unless you're purposely trying to be a dick you don't want 5 people commenting and saying, "That's nice but cut, please!" so learn how. Confused? Just ask.
08) Using cuts for Eclipse are mandatory, at least for a little while. Your post will be deleted as soon as it's noticed by a mod if you post uncut spoilers. So don't, mmkay? If you haven't read the book yet and stumble into a cut post where you get spoiled I can't and won't do anything about it, sorry.
