open, babe.
It had been rather awhile since John had had any interaction with, well, anybody. The Brotherhood really wasn't as social a bunch as the X-Men were, and for the most part, this didn't bother the teenager, but...there was something about the common and almost constant silence which unnerved him, which chilled him to the marrow of his bone. He decided not to dwell too much on it because their ways were never going to be identical, and instead of waiting around for something to just happen, he got off of his lazy arse and took a trip into town. For what, he wasn't quite sure. Possibly to find someone to inflict his company on, maybe to catch up with a previous friend? Hah, that wasn't very likely - it wasn't as if you'd wish to speak with someone who'd changed alliance at the drop of a hat. Literally, one second he'd been happy enough with the X-Men, having a blast with Bobby and the others, and then, after a minor enough blow up one day, he'd disappeared. It was obvious where he'd gone, however. It didn't take a genius to know that he'd always been on the verge of switching.
It was also obvious that this was crossing his mind as his dark eyes looked quite absent, along with his expression, while he walked along the crowded street, packed tight with saturday shoppers. He sighed at length and frowned deeply when he felt someone collide with him.
"Watch where the hell you're going, idiot!" he snarled, before glancing down to see who it was.
