Pr0n rec - with link!
If you can see this, you're on my pr0n filter. Yay!

I found this link on TLV extravaganza and had to share. CUTE boys and great funny banter between them. They seem like a real life couple, but maybe they're just great actors. I loved it. Watch it here!

“Big Brother 10″ Cappage

Originally published at superherofan.net - objectifying men in pop culture. You can comment here or there.

Well, someone recommended posting some “Big Brother” caps, even though I don’t really watch the “competitive” reality shows too much. I was getting kinda into it while capping it, especially after drooling over the hot bodybuilder and the cute gay guy, but then the bodybuilder opened his mouth and proved himself a fool and the gay guy got voted out…

So, I guess so much for that. Anyway, hope you like the cappage.

Tri-Nations
It's been ever so long since this journal saw a rugby post, mainly because the season is finished up here in the Northern Hemisphere.
Thankfully, of course, back home in the Southern Hemisphere the Tri-Nations is well underway and keeping me satisfied.
Although I must confess I was rather apprehensive about Australia's chances, given our performance at the last Festival of Man (just typing that gets me all wistful, aw). But the *inspired* appointment of Robbie Deans (OMG A KIWI WHAT?) as the new Wallabies coach (ie. only after the Kiwis were stupid enough to reappoint Graham Henry) has seen us go undefeated in five tests, which really seems a thing of the past. The new team has formed well and seems particularly cohesive, which is impressive given all the players that retired/got cleaned out after RWC 07.

ANYWAY.

Rugby is back, and with this journal that of course means random picspamming. And I'm taking a break from the regular Golden Boy and Hotlegs posts to introduce some new blood to this journal, expect to see some more in future when I do some bona fide internet trawling.

Haven't you all missed lovely rugby posts? I miss posting them :(

I think I love you.
David M. Gradwohl, I think I may be a little in love with you.

Particularly your article in Markers  X about the Jewish Cemeteries of Louisville.  OMG, how dumb was I that I didn't look for this article before?  I'm such an idiot.  But that article?  Completely fucking made of win and awesome and scoredness for me.  It explains stuff that I needed, and I can make inferences from it, and it makes me feel like ten bazillion times better.

I am restraining myself from ordering your new pamphlet.  Restraining, do you hear?

Also, I just had the crazy idea about submitting a rewritten version of my thesis to AGS for publication in Markers.  I know, finish the damned thing first, then worry about revision for publishing.  Degree, then publishing.  But that would be so incredibly swank and cool.

Okay.  Back to reading and thinking.

Sidenote: E sharp?  WTF?  There is no fucking E sharp.  It's called F, people.  F.  Do you hear me, Bach?  F.  Calling it E sharp makes lazy flute players like me say, "WTF?  E Sharp?  There's no such thing!!!!!!"

Jason - it is too intimidating.  That is a hell of a lot of notes.  HELLS OF A LOT.  And a weird key.  WEIRD AS WEIRD.

Okay.  Backs to work.

The Comic-Con fanboys still fail at life, for I have no hotass Taylor/Gambit footage to share, no matter how long I trawl the interwebs looking for it. I do however have a hilarious video of David Boreanaz talking about Bones and Philly sports and Comic-Con and being his sexass, dorky self from EW.com (how much do I love that the interviewer is obviously a total fangirl - represent!). And clearly more people need to slash him and Jensen for me, plz. I'm just pissed I was too late to stalk him and Emily around London when they came over here to film the s4 opener - bad fangirl!

Also, if anyone finds my writing mojo, please scold it for going AWOL for so long and send it back to me post-haste, for serious. The BBAU is gathering dust in the dark recesses of my mind and all I want to do is write evil, twisty Dean-in-Hell fic and porny Jensen threesomes. Alas, I can do NONE OF IT because my muse has deserted me. I'm also very horny. Don't know if the two are related, but there you go.

Was also considering uploading Batman Unmasked: The Psychology of the Dark Knight that aired on the History channel recently - it has clippage of TDK so I didn't watch it 'til I'd seen the movie, but I love the shows THC does to analyse and explore aspects of characters, they did it with mythology and religion in Star Wars after RotS came out - trés fascinating. Don't know if any of you are hardcore Batgeeks like me, but I figure the movie has probably spawned a lot more fans now! This is the blurb from history.com: Delve into the world of Batman and the vigilante justice that he brought to the city of Gotham. Batman is a man who, after experiencing great tragedy, devotes his life to an ideal--but what happens when one man takes on the evil underworld alone? Examine why Batman is who he is--and explore how a boy scarred by tragedy becomes a symbol of hope to everyone else. So let me know if you're interested in an upload; it's about 45 mins long and has psychological evaluations of a lot of Batman's Rogues Gallery too.

Otherwise I might be tempted to upload the Squirting 101 porn video I have that features my favouritest Tegan Presley before her nose job. Hot shit, yo, considering I always thought squirting was a myth to make watersports sound less gross. *snort*

Now I go finish my Dark Angel marathon! Boy do I wanna suck on Alec's lip...

we need to make a decision, leave this night or live and die this way

I'm starting a new meme: post pictures of your bed hair. DO IT BITCHES.

The week is over. That makes me ridiculously happy. Of course, we have a virtual shitload of homework, but whatever. I'll get it done sometime today or tomorrow.

For whatever reason I woke up early this morning (about 8am), showered, and went to breakfast. Now I'm sitting around contemplating studying (!) or possibly taking a nap.

Just for the hell of it, and because I apparently have far too much time on my hands, I'm trying to come up with something to do for a few months after graduation (pre-Peace Corps/teaching in a foreign country/grad school) that involves the outdoors and physical labor. I'm currently looking into conservation projects, but yeah. Any ideas?

Men are completely stupid. Or maybe I am. But that's a very long story that I will have to save for when I'm sober. Right now I'm focusing on the fact that I was right all of those months when I felt a mutual atttraction. Later I'll let myself think about how that idiot let his opportunity pass him by. Or let the opportunity leave the club without him. Whatever. I still have my pride. :P

I keep randomly laughing about how the only two people I gave my number to tonight were girls. One because I used to take care of her kids and she wants ideas for getting her daughter ready for kindergarten and the other one because she started hanging out with us at some point in the night and she was fun so we'll probably hang out with her again. Girls are more fun anyway!

In conclusion, men suck, girls are fun, comedy makes me laugh and whether you're at a comedy shoe or a Tony Lucca shoe, you should always be v. drink and enjoy the LNVE. Good night/morning/whatever.

Put the boywhores down, and go to bed
I really need to stop reading bandslash and go to fucking bed.

Where this started:

I watched Criminal Minds.  Decided  I needed Morgan/Reid, which is nearly impossible to find.  Found some, read it.  Decided then I needed Frank/Bob, so went looking for that.  Got distracted by Mikey/Bob, read some of that.  Found [info]arsenicjade's stuff (and man, I remember her from back when I was into the Backstreet Boys, so yeah).  Read more Mikey/Bob, then Mikey/Spencer, then Mikey/Frank/Gerard and then found the Wednesday-verse where PATD are boy-whores, except for Jon, who is in fact, a John, MCR runs a free clinic (Well, Gerard owns the clinic, and Mikey is the Hot Nurse and Bob is the doctor, and Ray does something important there, and I think Frank is an HIV tech), and Spencer/Bob occurs, and FOB runs a marine mammal resuce center (And there's a big WTF, let me tell you.  But oddly enough, I can see Pete swimming with otters.) and there is angst out the whazoo.

I think I need to go to bed.

Also, Simon, my cat, needs a cat tent in my room.  He's sleeping in a pillow fort at the moment.  Yes, I know.  Who the hell makes their cats pillow forts?  Me, that's who.

And Jason has promised to help me with the stats (OOOH That's one of those things that reads the same backwards as forwards.) and I have promised to feed him.  Also, he wants to know if I'll play flute in a Baroque ensemble.  I haven't seriously played in like five years and have not agreed to anything yet.  He says that they're playing harpsichord and violin (or viola, can't recall) pieces at the moment, so that means that he's got at least one other person, but could be playing both himself.  You say that's impossible?  Obviously you've not met Monsieur Jason.  The Oichistu Ni Kami-Sama.  Boy is like musical savant.  In high school, while we waited for our rides almost everyday (before we got driver's licenses), he'd play the grand piano and I'd lay under it and do homework.

Wow, is it really 2:42 AM?  Where did the last two hours go?   Sleep now, kthnxbai.

Looks like Supernatural won't be airing on City TV next year, but it will be airing on SUN TV in simulcast with the CW (source = SUN TV Media Kit 2008). And possibly still on Space. Same goes for Smallville.

Not sure how this will impact most Canadian viewers. I feel pretty bummed at the thought of CityTV trying to compete with the big networks. I need my niche network with it's quirky announcer, dammit! I guess it's good that we're getting a season four at all, though, right? And that Kripke signed a two year deal with the WB which is a good sign for the final season if nothing else? Will I even care two years from now?

UGH. STOP STRESSING ME OUT, CANADIAN TELEVISION PROGRAMMING.

PS. *Is capping Provenance* )

HOLY SHIT. I'm watching Addams Family Values for the first time in a couple of years (two or three?) and, wow, could Christine Baranski be less fabulous in this? I totally did not realize she was the camp director.

I also didn't recognize Peter MacNicol or David Krumholtz. This is how the future Numb3rs costars met? One a nerdy preteen Lothario, the other a square camp co-director?

(Obviously I knew Mercedes McNab, since I was already an avid Buffy fan.)

ETA: Between seeing Christine Baranski in Boeing-Boeing with Brad Whitford and in Mamma Mia!, I've been on a real Baranski kick and so I decided I really needed some icons. In looking for screencaps, I learned that, not only is she surprise!yuppie in this movie, but she DID A SWEENEY TODD with BRIAN STOKES MITCHELL in 2002. HOW DID I NOT SEE THIS GUYS.

On the plus side, I now have Mamma Mia icons. )

mcr msg bootleg
Ack, I really need to go to the gym, but here, have this first (and wow I'm spammalicious today).

+ MCR at Madison Square Garden - 332 meg, 90 minutes, mp4
please use a download manager, don't link to my files or journal on communities, message boards, forums etc, thank you. I'd appreciate if you comment when you download, helps me keep track of things.

This is a quite watchable bootleg of MCR's MSG show in May (last show of tour), sound and video is reasonable for a bootleg. I've only checked bits and pieces, but looks complete (or close to it).
