fashion week videos & pictures
This may be old news, but I didn't find these in the videos and pictures tags, so I hope they're worth sharing. If this is all redundant, though, I have no problem having the post deleted. :)

Blip.tv has a few videos of the R. Scott French show at Fashion Week. One of them is the same video that [info]misty_writes linked to in this post, with two minor differences: it's higher resolution, but it has a site banner graphic down the side throughout the video. There is also a two-part backstage video, which doesn't focus on the MMaS boys but does have some nice glimpses of them here and there, including when they arrive all entourage-like.

When I checked out the site advertised on the banner, KingKahnTV.com, I found a photo slide show in addition to the same videos. The photos weren't directly downloadable, so I took screenshots of the ones with MMaS boys:



















Like I said, no worries if all of this has been posted before -- just let me know and I'll get rid of the clutter. :)

Going by the voting history on the show and what I've gathered about fan support for each of the final four, I do think it will be either Ronnie or Ben. I voted for Perry, but I don't have a history of picking winners. ;)

Thank you for sharing these! I hadn't seen the backstage videos before. I liked the bits where you could hear the other male models talk a bit. Though the MMAS guys were pretty anti social to the rest of them it looked like. (Probably because they were forced to, but cute.)

Perry really stands out in a crowd. He looked so focused! And any little extra bits of Casey were awesome. He looked so great in that show~ (even in the little candid shot of him. XD)

Didn't he, though? No matter what happens in the finale, I find it difficult to believe that Perry isn't going to make it one way or another. He has the drive and the skill and, yeah, the personality for success.

I have to say I was really impressed, after watching the backstage videos and the runway, with how professional the MMaS boys all are. I mean, that designer was lucky to have our boys there, given the walks of some of the oher models.

Oh, Casey! He did look so beautiful, and I really thought he did a great job. Even R. Scott French said so! I wish the judges had recognized/praised him a little more, but maybe they didn't like his walk as much as I think they should.

Indeed -- though I couldn't help wishing for just a little more. Towards the end of one of the backstage videos, when R. Scott French was being interviewed with Casey standing behind him, I had this moment of, "Hey, guy who is the focus of this entire thing -- get your big fat head out of the way so I can see Casey's face!" *wry grin*

Seriously! He was finally right in front of the camera and he was totally blocked. You still got to watch his shiney hair though... which I guess is something. XD

Not to be awkward, but would you mind if I friended you? You have excellent taste in series and you continue to be awesome on here. And I've been wanting to get to know more Casey fans. :)

Thanks for this. And yeah, Perry really should win, but I think it'll be Ben since he has huge fanbase than the others. At least Jennifer said that the nature of the show seems that good models are sent home.I'm ok now that Casey is not in the final 4 ;)

I think I missed that! She didn't say it on the reunion episode, did she? Anyhow, I'm really happy to hear that acknowledgment, even if she wasn't talking about Casey specifically.

Casey and Shannon. But I am really happy with the final four and sadly the nature of this competition is that good models must leave.

Cory said the same thing on his blog, which was nice. I think they were all sad that he left when he did.

You could tell from the judging that Cory and Jennifer both liked Casey, and really wanted him to succeed. It seemed like their critiques of him often had this almost pleading quality in tone -- like, "You're so close! Come on, you can do it, just get yourself there!", rather than some of the harsher critiques they gave others. So it's wonderful to hear them both say it actual words, especially since I was hoping that would come up during the reunion. And, really, I'd rather have one of the leading industry managers and one of the leading industry casting agents in favor of me than models-turned-judges. Not to knock Niki or Tyson by any means! Just, I think it bodes well for Casey's future that Cory and Jennifer liked him.

I got the feeling that Cory still has the feeling that America voted wrong even when Ben told him how hurt he was.Cory seemed to only say that, well, it helped Ben improve but none the 'I took back what I said' tone in Cory's voice.

This just reminds me how fabulously Casey did in that fashion show. If only he could have walked with as much confidence for the judges; then maybe he wouldn't have gone up for the vote so many times and would still be with us.

He was really so good, wasn't he? Smooth and confident, and I know I've used this word elsewhere but I keep coming back to it -- professional. One of the ways I've been judging everyone's catwalk for myself is how it makes me respond to the clothing, whether I think about it all (if I don't, that's probably not a success), if it makes me wish I had a body that could pull that off, if I just think the clothes look good. And Casey made his outfits look good. Like, I imagined my brothers in the dead fly shirt with that jacket over it. Not that I could afford it, of course. But still, it's fun to imagine -- and surely that counts as a successful catwalk?
