| About: | this is a sewing/design community for people interested in experimental/diy fashion. the type of people who whip up a new outfit before going out to the club out of 4 newspapers and the cat. every community i've seen so far is really drab and dull, or way too goth/corset/renn faire or raver oriented, or REALLY farflung in interests (a sewing community where one post is a 14 year old in a tube tob and the next post is a grannys quilt, for instance), i'm hoping to find more people with an interesting/congruous sense of fashion with the talent to pull it off. share ideas, show off, ask sewing/construction questions, plan fashion shows, trade clothes, whatever. this is the perfect place for people studying fashion design, or just those who like to make random clothing. no copycats. anything posted in this community is the property of its designer unless they say "hey, use my idea!" no leeches! making something for yourself is one thing, copying someones idea and selling is it not cool. ebay ads are fine, please limit it to one per batch of auctions, and please only link to the auctions that are your handmade items. using the cut tag is also recommended if you have a long list of items. due to a massive influx of members and in an attempt to keep this community on topic, please email me to be added to the community. if you have samples of your work, please include it in the email. thanks and enjoy. ♥, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} ohmeohmy | ||
