So I was at the June 20, 2006 show in Sayreville, NJ. It was the first show of the tour before TDAGARIM came out (and the first Brand New show in way too long). So I was wondering if anyone had the setlist. I used LJseek through this community, checked the tags that are up now, and googled the shit out of it also.

It was such an amazing show and I can't find the list anywhere! If you could help me out that'd be really great!

i have changed the settings for the community (now that I know how), you can all now add tags to posts. so knock yourselves out.

so, i wanted to create a comprehensive brand new website. a brand new website to end all brand new websites. i will take care of all of the back end stuff. design, html, graphics, ect. however, i need acouple helpers to get some content on the website. what's a good design without some content to put in it? so if you're interested (i really could use the help!) here are some positions i need:

- news posters; scour the internet, magazines, ect. for quality brand new news. you would also write information about brand new, such as the band biography/history, individual biographies, discographies, and find show reviews, album reviews and general interesting information about the band. actual contact with the band would be AWESOME. i need about two or three of you for this.
- media posters; scour the internet for pictures, concert photography, rare/b-side mp3s, quality youtubes. if you already have a large collection of pictures, that would go a long way. one or two of you for this.
- php/mysql coder; although i know basic php, a php/mysql back end would go a long way to help with the content. i'm thinking a database for easily posting new photos and mp3s. this would also involve code to help visitors add content. this would include concert reviews, concert photography, concert videos (youtubes), album reviews, individual song reviews, opinions on what a song means and generally anything about brand new someone would like to contribute. this isn't necessary, but would go a long way to expedite the creation process. it would also help if you knew basic javascript. i wanna do a simple mouseover image replace for the menu. it will involve a submenu appearing under the main menu, and a description bar that gives a brief description as out mouse over each part of the menu. only one of you for this.
all of you would also help me moderate the forums.

if you think you can contribute something more than what i have listed up here, i'm open to suggestions! i need people who would be dedicated to this website. if you're are/going to be busy in the near future and don't think you would have enough time to help, then please don't apply. i would like to have this baby up and running in a month/month an a half.

if you're interested please comment with what you think you can help with and i will comment back. if you can't help, but have something you would like to add that might help me, go ahead and comment too.

post your ideas! if we get enough that we actually need to have a vote, we'll have some kind of a poll or something.


the only thing i ask is that you make sure it's brandnew themed, firefox friendly, and preferably sidekick friendly (i.e. no huge fancy coding and shit). we don't need anything that crazy looking, it would be better for it to be plain but well designed.


EDIT: also, the info page could use sprucing up. i think that callhomicide will probably be the best member for this but please post your ideas. i run chemicalromance too and i was thinking of stealing the general layout from that community?

Due to the fact that I am broke as hell, I am parting with my glorious sic transit gloria 7" that I bought a loong time ago.  It is not wrapped since I played it a few times but it is in near perfect condition. I bought it off ebay for 30something dollars but I am asking for at least 10$ + shipping which depending where you are should be under 10$.  It comes with sic transit gloria.. glory fades and jaws theme swimming (demo).  It even comes with some crazy tour insert too but i think it's mostly for radio stations. anyway, here's a picture:

I would like to start this post by asking you guys not to flame me. I haven't seen as much flameage on here lately, but this comm has such a bad rep for it. So, please.

Sometime around two years ago, I got the brilliant idea to make a colouring book, because they're freaking bitchin', and I don't really know what children are into these days. The obvious solution was to make a Brand New colouring book.

I just learned how.


Um, I only have two thus far, because I have no photos. And so, I am offering up these two beautiful linearts, and hoping you kids can provide me with some good hi res photos, preferably not live, which you would like to colour.

I was curious, does anyone know what are Jesse Lacey's favorite bands, or bands that inspire Brand New's music, besides Morrissey (The Smiths) and Neutral Milk Hotel? I just want a better idea of what type of bands their music is inspired by, or a little background on Jesse's personal taste. Thanks.
