hey guys, as many of you know there is a limit to how many tags a journal can have. this of course poses a problem for boys_paper since there are so many boys to scan. therefore PLEASE keep this in mind when making tags.

o1. the biggest thing i see is redundancy and overlap. for example, if i made a post of tackey and tsubasa; there is NO NEED for a takki, tsubasa, and THEN a tackey&tsubasa tag! same thing goes for KAT-TUN there is no need to name all the members in KAT-TUN for just one post. this also applies to D-Boys, Hey!Say!JUMP and other groups large groups. If it's a scan of a few D-Boys then having a separate tag is fine. But if it's more than a few D-Boys together in one post then just put it as a D-Boys tag.

o2. if there is a missing tag. PLEASE FEEL FREE to let us know here! i don't know every hot guy out there, therefore i will not be able to add tags of people i don't know. help us out and let us know if you're scanning someone that doesn't have a tag.

o3. i do go back to posts and condense tags but currently out of the 4 mods in this community i am the only one active. so PLEASE do me a favor and condense your tags! CONVERSATION IS KEY not just for the environment. i will work on making a BETTER system for the tags as soon as i finish with my real life issues. BUT for the moment please try to be careful with the tags.

o4. i would like to THANK ALL THE MEMBERS especially all the ones who are generous enough to share with this community. i really do appreciate everyone's work and i'm not trying to single anyone out. this is just a general trend that i see quite often. please continue to share great scans with the community.

hey everyone :D i hope you guys are all are having a great weekend.

i actually don't have any scans to go with this post but i'll be sure to make it up to you guys later :D perhaps i'll edit this post when i get the scans up. anyway onto the real reason why i'm posting:

PLEASE PLEASE read the rules before making ANY posts.

i have been getting quite a few emails regarding posts leading to locked journals or scans communities. i personally don't mind all the fake lj cuts that people make. i understand the need to keep everything organized; however, if you're planning to lock your entry - whether it be immediately or a week or a month from when you make the post here - it is still breaking the rules. the reason why we haven't addressed this issue until today was because i didn't want to lose some of scanners who do this. i do really appreciate that they are willing to share their scans for a certain time but it's hard for people who do not see the post until after it's been locked.

i'm do apologize that i missed the recent f-locked post at the community. even though we have 4 mods usually there are at least 2 of them who are busy. if there are any more problems please feel free to email us, leave a message at our journals (ihearyourtears or ourfadedmemory) or leave a message at any of my old boys_paper posts.

hey everyone! ♥~ first of all, we'd like to thank all the members for supporting this community! we never imagined that a year ago, when we first made this community, that we'd reach 2000+ members! we hope that boys_paper will keep growing!

i know it's technically not April 25 yet, but we wanted to put up this new layout that ihearyourtears made as an anniversary present for boys_paper. finally, after one LONG year of looking at only yamapi, she found some time to make a new layout. XDD!

here are some new layout features:
o1) newly added tags sidebar to make it easier to find older scans
02) the RULES (which isn't new...but now you can refer to it with ease XD)
03) there's a new request page located HERE.

* we finally got around to fixing the tags, so they are MUCH nicer now since none of the names repeat. we still need to work on the memories though, so for right now use the tags to find specific groups. ^____^

for our anniversary, ihearyourtears and i, plan to scan all the April 2006 issues of popolo, winkup, duet, potato, and myojo. we'll hopefully get that done before the end of this month. ideally, it will be done by the 25th but we can't guarantee that we can accomplish it. so please be patient with us! ♥

sorry that the mods haven't been around lately. ihearyourtears had 6 days of work for the past few weeks and i had school and apps. if you have any concerns or questions when we're not around in the community, feel free to e-mail any of the mods (although..for best results, e-mail either ihearyourtears or myself..since some of our mods kinda disappeared..XD) and we'll get back to you ASAP.

we'd like to thank everyone for contributing to boys_paper and all our members for supporting this community. and i know we've been lacking in commenting to all entries, but now that ihearyourtears doesn't have to work 6 days in a row, we'll be commenting more often. as a result of our absences, we easily miss posts that don't follow the rules. and even with that being said, scanners who don't follow the rules, don't take this the wrong way. this isn't meant to single anyone out and certainly not to discourage anyone from scanning. with that said..

we just want to remind new members, and new posters, and/or people or may have forgotten.. that all scans MUST have at least one dimension that is 1000px. so please read the rules!! we have a shiny new info page so it doesn't hurt your eyes to read the rules anymore. but not a shiny new layout. :P

sorry but no scans today. :) i don't know how many of you go to the older entries but it seems like picfury has deleted some of the scans uploaded in May. T^T i don't know why, maybe someone reported it? i'm not sure. anyway i'm going to try and see if i can reupload those pictures that we scanned. sorry if this is an inconvience. i don't know how long it might take since i have to find my old scans. again i'm sorry for this. if anyone knows WHY please to let me know.

i scanned Anan from April 2005, and it was a special talking about the 35 most liked guys of 2005. something along the lines of that. they didn't have pictures of everyone though, becuase there are some idols that made it, but don't have their picture in the magazine. There's various idols in here, so check them out!

Since this is our 1000 member special, we hosted these pictures onto our own sever and the file sizes are bigger than usual. so enjoy~

hi everyone!! it's us...again. i know we posted a banner not too long ago, but! yayayayay!! 200 members! thank you to all who keep this community running. we greatly appreciate your comments and contributions!! thanks for all your nice comments and feedback that we got from everyone! it really encourages us to keep scanning because we love to hear from you! (if you can't already tell, because we spam like crazy!) [edit]: regarding requests for wink up, popolo, potato, duet and myojo. i do not buy the magazines the day it is released in japan. i usually get them about a month later because it's cheaper to have them shipped by sea. so if you request scans from the newest magazines, just know that i will not be able to scan them right away.
