Hi everyone!

Okay, so recently I bought the entire series of Boy Meets World on DVD, and I was just oh-so-excited when I found it on the internet! The website promoted the DVD set with a picture of a BMW box, which looked professional and in the same style of the DVD releases from Buena Vista of seasons 1-3. And it was a great price, too, so since BMW is my addiction I had to get it.

So it arrived, and it wasn't exactly as it was pictured. The 14 DVDs came in paper sleeves, with just the "Boy Meets World, Disc __" printed on it. Completely not what I expected! (I went back to the website and read the fine fine tiny tiny print on the bottom that said this is how it would be. I had to cut and paste the fine print text onto a word document and then increase the text size just to read it though!)

The episodes are recorded straight from TV, mostly the Disney Channel. They have the little pop-up logos for the channel, and even the scrolling text ("up next, Hanna Montana! followed by Smart Guy. You're watching Boy Meets World, yada yada yada....").

It's kind of an internal conflict watching these DVDs. I'm totally against pirating, being a film major and all, but BMW is my biggest addiction and it's hard to resist watching the discs! The quality of it isn't so bad, although some episodes are worse than others. I've check it out too, all the episodes are there, even the alcoholic one (which was on a channel other that Disney of course, lol).

Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with this? Has anyone else bought the entire series and are you satisfied with it?

Rider & Will in Obama ads

Apparently Rider & Will are Obama supporters, like every other person in hollywood. It certainly does appear to be "the" bandwagon to jump onto. But anyway, they did a few ads for Obama in 30 seconds, if anyone is interested in watching and/or voting. Here's the link catchhope.com

I don't really "get" the ads, they seem to be saying hope's a bad thing, but then not, but then I'm not exactly sure when hope did become a bad thing...oh I'm rambling, and you won't understand unless you watch the ads.

On that note does anyone know who currently holds the distribution rights? Last I heard they were up for grabs, but didn't hear anything after that.

Topanga, the chick from "Boy Meets World," went before a judge and cried so hard he let her off.

Danielle Fishel went under radar as she appeared in a LA Courthouse earlier this year. She had failed to show for a hearing in an earlier DUI case and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Then last December, she was pulled over in the O.C. When cops ran her name in the computer, they found she had a warrant and busted her.

Danielle, in her finest form, went to court and completely broke down before the judge, sobbing uncontrollably. Guess what -- it worked. The judge didn't nail her and reinstated her probation.

The judge did say if Danielle screws up again she'll get 25 days in the pokey.

Hello, I'm new here. Boy Meets World is my favorite show of all times, and has been since I saw the first episode as a little girl. There isn't an episode I couldn't watch again and again.

So I have a question. I'm thinking this was probably asked before, but I am new here so I'm hoping that someone can shed a little light on the subject for me...

Why did Lily Nicksay leave the show? I've been searching the internet for the last three hours and I can't seem to find any information on why she left, just people talking about the fact that Morgan was replaced. I've always wondered this, but have never found out the reason why. Any one know?

so ive been watching bmw season 2 and listening to the commentary tracks w/ will friedle, rider strong, and michael jacobs (creator/exec producer).

it reminded me of this website called OURSO which used to be a rider strong fansite and is now closed down and the creators have been working on a fan myspace for him for quite some time.

a couple years ago (i think), the website creators posted a behind the scenes mockumentary video of the boy meets world cast and crew filmed by will friedle/rider strong during the last season of the show or something like that.

i never got a chance to see it and the creators of the website probably won't be putting it up anytime soon. so i was wondering if anyone knows what im talking about and happens to know where i could find it.

i know many bmw fans (including myself) would love to see it.

Does anyone know if any channels are still airing BMW as of right now? It says in the userinfo that you can watch it on ABC Family and Disney, but both of those channels so no longer play it... and haven't for, like, six months. It depresses me.

Secondly, have any of you guys ever ordered all of the series on DVD before? I know that they've only "officially" released seasons 1-3 but there's websites such as this one that offer them all, just unoffically. Are any of them legit? I really miss the good ol' high school and college episodes.

Hey everyone, new member here, figured I'd say hi! I used to watch Boy Meets World way back in grade school and recently started watching the re-runs again- and loving it more than ever, BTW. x3 Eric is by far one of the funniest TV characters to ever have been created. I fully intend to make some quote!icons soon for the show, there's too many excellent moments there to let pass by un-quoted.

I just noticed that the timing is off in this episode. Eric and Cerina are out to lunch, yet Cory and Topanga are at a house babysitting and it's 9:30pm.

...Because sometimes celeb siblings end up on shows as guests or walk-ons from time to time. I was watching the "I was a teenage spy" episode the other night, and could've sworn that I saw Rider's brother Shiloh. Or at least I think that was him. He was the one at the table trying to order, with Pat Morita as the waiter, aka Wiseman. If anyone knows if I am right or not let me know. I am very curious because I have been a fan of both Strong brothers since way back in the day. Thanks a million!
