HA! Got ComicGenesis wrangled and therefore BA has updated. Flow of Destiny and Human Behaviour are kind of hosed since I can't remember their passwords or email accounts, but I was thinking of completely redoing Flow of Destiny when I got a chance anyway, so that's all right.

Hey all, those who are still listening. I like how I said "This won't be another 2003" back in 2004, updated the comic once after that... and then nothing. UNTIL NOW!

Yes that's right, after nearly two years, Bowspirit's Aim has finally, FINALLY been updated—and just in time to be late for its fifth birthday. Five years, jesus... that's a long time. With only 40 "real" comics to show for it, I feel sort of guilty. BA and its predecssors have been my baby since '97, but I've done so little for it since I started the comic. I had to look up the date for its birthday in fact; this past year and a half has been a blur and while I'm still living in a fog, I hope to at least give BA some of the love it really does deserve.

So much has changed in the past two years—for better and worse. I'm still in shock that it's been so long.

Updated, finally. There's a backlog of two comics—the two weeks we missed, plus this week's late one—so you might actually want to start reading here.

Next time I miss an update I'm just going to let it go, I think, especially if they start piling up like this. One week, yeah, sure, I can draw two comics at a go. But doing three within the span of twenty-four hours (at least, the latter bit) is a pain and a half.

Again, sorry about the delay (and of the retardedness of the backgrounds in this week's, I was getting tired of comicking by that point XD;)—next time, I'll try to think ahead if there's an obstacle coming X3;

If you've checked the page today, looking for a comic, you've probably not found one. There's a totally valid reason for that, and it isn't that I'm a lazyass.

As many of you know, I'm in the throes of redoing my room—I'm not tearing the thing down, but I'm doing pretty much everything else. At the moment, I have a very light purple ceiling and two very nice medium purple walls (and two are still that absolutely vomit-inducing eggshell/navajo white/ivory/whichever damn colour was in my room). The only pieces of furniture I have are a bed and a nightstand (and I've been using neither, as paint fumes have forced me to sleep on the couch). In any case, my room—and my computer—are currently scattered all over the place. My scanner is out of commission because of it (hard to have a scanner work with no computer to work with, really), and I haven't had an hour string to my own devices, let alone the four to six I need to sketch out a comic.

I will do this week's comic, which will get backdated when the system gets put back together (on the floor of my room... probably next weekend or sooner; on the new desk, no later than the 20th ♥ and then I won't have to draw on my bed anymore *^^*), and I'll post again with a link to that so you don't have to backtrack from the main page to get there.

Sorry about this—I should have realized that this lack of scanner thing would be a problem while painting and done the comic ahead of time, but I generally don't think very far ahead (living from day to day gives me enough to keep track of) and usually can't do the comic more than twelve hours before it's due anyway. For those of you just now tuning into the comic, if those there be, I hope you'll understand about the lack of update and not give up on me so easily. This won't be another 2003, I promise.

On the plus side... I'm not wasting anyone's time with filler =D That's a good thing, right?

Updated. Dear lord, it took forever to get Sevvie's hood off, didn't it? Thank god it's off for good, now @o;

(If you're wondering who the random cameos are, they are, in page order: Marika Bloodraven, Cymru Bloodraven (new & improved =D;;), Basanti (from Shadows), a random gnome warlock (from World of Warcraft), Shiek (from Desert Rose), Alex, and Ebil Bush. Ooh, shiny.)

Once again, we've updated... and mostly on time, too =D I just couldn't stay awake long enough for it to actually go up last night.

Sallie appears courtesty of [info]drazzi to whom she is owned by herself. Only two more Quiver Load cameos to go, and I've already got plans for one of them =D

(I apologize for any erriors in execution on Sallie; it's been months since I drew her last, and I really didn't want to get up and look for reference, so it's all from memory.)

You can tell I was half-assing this week. Don't worry, I'll be going through MMORPG-withdrawl next week, so it's very possible next week's will not only be on-time, but well-drawn (again. I rather liked the past couple comics, all things considered). Then again, it's possible that I'll be all jittery and so it'll be worse. We won't know 'til we find out, will we now? =D;;

One thing's for sure. I'm likely to smell better next week ^^;;;

Happy Birthday, Bowspirit's Aim!

Bowspirit's Aim Third Birthday Contest Results: The results are in! Our grand prize winner is [info]annarti. Runner-up is [info]headless_yuna—check out both of their amazing entries on the Fan page.

So starts our third true storyline. Averaging a storyline (and a third, if we count Quiver Load) per year... I think I can do better than that. And I will. So there.

It's Updated, everyone. Yes, most (if not all) of you have already seen it, for that I apologize. I just couldn't come up with anything better that wouldn't take more explination than I've already done.

Also happy birthday [info]tophet, who is still in the picture but not commented on in the note below it. And feel free to check out the new First Target Title Page, which again, most of you have probably seen (since a tutorial/walkthrough on how it was made was posted to [info]wingsoflove).

Next week we'll start on Third Target, as well as announcing the winners of the contest that ends on the third: three days from now. If you haven't checked it out yet, why don't you do so?
