This is a community for testing custom content you've made before submitting it to a download site of your choice. Here you will receive critique as well as help achieving what you envision. We have some simple rules as follows:

♦ No bashing.
We respect and acknowledge that not everyone is super amazingly talented, but that does not mean we will tolerate flaming of someone's creation simply because it's "bad". Negative comments will be deleted with a warning. If it seems that you've made an honest mistake, you'll be referred to the rules and asked to abide by them in the future. If this happens on multiple occasions, you may be banned. Trolling, however, will result in an immediate ban.

♦ Constructive criticism, please!
The purpose of this community is to make sure your creation is as good as it can be, that it looks good in all kinds of games, and it works the way it's supposed to. To make sure we uphold these standards, the members and moderators of this comm must do more than fawn over what you've made. Expect criticism! Obviously, rule #1 sill applies and we will stem down any baseless flaming.

♦ Test it in your own game first.
If you've made something in body shop, and you don't take the time to load it up yourself, what makes you think we will? You must provide IN-GAME preview pictures with your test-download. You may also have body-shop or milkshape, but not just.

♦ So it's downloads only?
No, actually, it's not. If you have a screencap of a texture you're working on, or a mesh you've thought up - bring it! We'd be happy to look at it and tell you our preliminary thoughts. HOWEVER - if you want someone to test it out, the previous rule applies.

♦ Tutorials are necessary!
We welcome the posting of tutorials. If you have a great tute on extracting maxis meshes or how to make eyes recessive in SimPE, please post it! Just make sure to either link to the complete tute in your post, or use a cut.

On that note, if you are searching for a particular tutorial please refer to wcif_sims for such questions, as well as any inquiries you may have for 'a mesh that looks like ..' :)

♦ Picture sizes.
You may have ONE photo outside of an LJ-CUT. The photo size limit is 500x500. You may have larger photos under the cut if they are necessary in illustrating your piece, but try not to break LJ while you do it :) If you don't know how to make a cut, please refer to the FAQ here.

♦ Download links.
As a reminder, this is not a downloads HOST community. In the process of trial & error with your creation, you may upload a "finished" version and people may agree that, yes, it's now done. However, we would appreciate it if you went ahead and made your own preview/download post elsewhere instead of linking people back to this comm. We do not really want to see "THANK YOU" comments here, that's for wella_creations.

♦ You can't expect to simply take, take, take.
This is a rule we as moderators are going to strictly enforce: you cannot ask question after question and not give anything back. If we find that you are simply wanting other users to work for you and not doing anything in return (ie: helping someone else) we will be PMing you with a warning. It's not fair otherwise.
