This community focuses on roleplaying characters (such as cowboys, outlaws, doctors, etc.) during the mid-1850s era. Membership is open to all who are interested, and hopefully we'll get some fun, action-packed stories going.
RULES
- All posts must be in full, complete sentences in story format. Be descriptive, please spell/grammar check your posts BEFORE posting them, and use OOC if you have to communicate something outside your post. Please have at least one paragraph of writing, and there is no limit to how much you can write, but for the sake and sanity of those who have busy lives, don’t type out novels to read. (Introduction posts may be longer)
- No playing other people’s characters unless you have EXPRESS permission from the player. Otherwise, you can only comment on actions or motions that other characters make.
- Try to avoid one liner posts. For obvious reasons.
- Do not have entire personal conversations in OOC during RP posts, they must be posted elsewhere. This just keeps clutter on the threads down. (Small things are all right).
- You may edit your posts ONLY if it is to correct vital spelling and grammatical errors. You may NOT redo an event or action. Once you hit ‘post’ that is what happens. The only exception to this is if you post something completely unrealistic in regards to the world, in our case,
the real world. Please consider the time period, the language, dress, codes of conduct, classes of citizens, etc. You don’t have to be 100% accurate, but make an effort to SOUND authentic. xD
- Use your brain. A good role player knows how to make fair decisions when playing with other members. When engaging in fights with other characters in the RP please do not tell the outcome of the action you make, allow the player you are effecting to judge weather or not you land a hit. This is a huge judgment call and everyone is placing trust in each other to make the right one, so please be reasonable. Amateurs are not welcome in this RPG.
- Please take turns in posting, unless one of the other players is MIA. Try to give everyone in the scene a turn before posting again. If one of the players doesn’t post for a while and everyone is waiting on them, you can judge if it’s all right to go ahead and post before them. Players and their characters in other scenes are not included in the turntable, and may post in their own order, according to how many people are in that particular scene.
