- August: Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk
- September: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn - Betty Smith
If you are unhappy with the month's book selection, you do not have to read it to stay in the club - please just suggest a book for the next month, vote, and participate once a book of interest to you is chosen! (If you feel extremely strongly about a certain book, feel free to comment about it on the voting page! "You should vote for... because...!")
Discussions about the book will open on the first day of the month! Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Please put spoilers under cuts.
- Be smart about what you post - try to make it clear how much you have read in the book when you post or comment.
- Respect, courtesy, tolerance... etc. This is a place for discussion and debate, but let's keep it respectful.
Just use good judgment, and all will be good. I may modify these rules as we continue or as the group gets larger.
