Alright, I have the first step done. Because I don't know squat about zipfiles, we are doing this the pain in my neck way, and I'm posting them in phases. The first step is to post the basic emotions. You take these, and all your bases are covered. The in depth comes with time and as I finish the branches. Now these are free, but I would like to receive credit, because each one of these bad boys is hand made. My rule is that you take the following icon, and either have as an icon or put it in your profile. You can alter the background of the moods, but leave the little dude alone unless you get permission. And please, no hot linking.

I admit I spent less time time on these than I have been, and I apologize. I have to blame it on working on making a series of emoticons (and I do plan on making one for each different emotions) based on the thought of a baby world turtle. I'll give you a sample here, so that you can tell me, if when I get the base set done if I should post it here or give you the link.

I have accidentally addicted myself to making icons after rereading the books.  Here's a quick sample of the six I've made recently:

I just reread A Hat Full of Sky and these two lines struck me as lovely, so I thought I might share.

 

I love the icons here and use them too much so I thought I might add mine. I've only got the two, but you're welcome to take them. I made the one for my own weakness for the feegle in all forms and sizes and the other because who doesn't want to murder a curry?
Credit would be adored and comments happily entertained.

So a book recently came out about shopping carts in the wild (and won an award for having a strange title). My thoughts couldn't help but turn to Reaper Man, so I have three icons based on that, as well as a Hitchhiker's guide icon and one based on mctabby's Summary Executions.

I was just fiddling around making a new icon for the new year from a Good Omens cover (there are so many to choose from), and then it occured to me, there are people who like books -- who probably like this book! So:



Just the one. Please credit Haydn Cornner as it took me a long time to find his name, and then even longer to spell it correctly. Also feel free to credit Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, as it was their idea. And if you want, you can also credit me, since I added the numeric bits.

Terry Pratchett is a wonderful author. His Discworld series is fantastic. Fantasy/satire, absolutely wonderful.

The Last Hero, is an illustrated novel, written by Pratchett and illustrated by Paul Kidby. I made a number of graphics from scans out of the book.
