| About: | This is a Book Crossing community where members can share books with others. For those not familiar with Book Crossing, the person who has a book to give registers the book, getting a book ID number unique to that book. They then either send it to another person or simply leave it someplace public where it can be found. The Book ID number along with instructions on how to reach the book's page are printed on a label on the inside of the book's cover. People who find or receive the book can go online and add an entry to the book's page, thus creating a travelogue of where the book's been. The way this community will work is this: 1) A community member will post the book information and a link to the book's book crossing page. This declares the book available. 2) Other members will "claim" the book in the comments. 3) The first commenter will email their address to the member who made the book available and they will send the book out. 4) Once the first commenter has read the book, they will notify the second commenter that it is once again available, and that person will send them their address. 5) And so on and so forth until the book has been sent to everyone who commented on the original entry. 6) The last person to receive it can then either send it on to someone of their acquaintance, or release it into the wild.
