Welcome to Bones Stillness, an icon challenge community based on the television series, Bones. This community is inspired by the original stillness community, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) buffy_stillness, created by ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) quebelly. As the name implies, no animated icons are permitted for any challenge. This community was created by damnskippytoo and your moderator is angelspike69.
Visitors, please do not take icons without the permission of and proper credit given to the icon artist.

The Rules:
- Your icon(s) must conform to the Live Journal standards: no larger than 100x100 and 40 kb or less.
- Icons should be still (not animated).
- Brushes, templates, backgrounds, etc. are permitted.
- Do not blend (combine) different caps from the same challenge or add outside images unless otherwise specified in the challenge. You may repeat the cap or a portion of the cap on the same icon.
- Submit your icon(s) as a comment to the screencaps/challenge post. Post your icon as an image and put the url for the image below it. Make sure your lj user name is included in the url address in some way (part of the file name is fine). All entries will be screened.
- Do not post your icon in your journal or other places prior to the winners announcement.
- Enter only newly created icons - not something you've had in your basement for a year.

The Challenges:
- The challenges will vary. At times there will be screencaps provided and at other times only a lyric, poem, theme, color or character for which you will choose the cap(s). Or we may think of something else! Requirements of each challenge will be explained.
- Voting will be open to members only and will begin shortly after the posting deadline. You cannot vote for yourself. That's really tacky. Winners will be announced as soon as possible but (hopefully) no later than sometime Friday morning.
- Banners are not provided. If you would like a banner there are several custom banner communities on livejournal.
- Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. A mod's choice award will be given only when the moderator feels it is deserved for originality, composition, appropriateness for the theme, and/or just how frickin' gorgeous it is. It may or may not be one of the top three placed icons.
