Sorry I didn't get a challenge up last week. I had no internet for a few days and on top of that, my computer was acting all wonky after the latest Windows upgrade. Got the problem figured out, and the internet is back.

The new challenge will be up tomorrow night. I'm still searching for caps. Saturday and Sunday my computer was offline pretty much all day and my dad couldn't come over to look at it til Sunday. There were some things I had to do to it that took a better portion of the afternoon and evening Sunday.

Now is time to announce the winners for Challenge #85 - Community Banner/Icon. All the entries were beautiful, and I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart that entered. The voting was difficult, at least for me it was. I wish I could have voted for each one.

So the winning banner and icon is up on the new layout. Check it out! Hope you all like the new layout and coloring (which is based on the banner).

The others that placed 2nd, 3rd and Mod's Choice, will be part of future layouts. I gave out two Mod Choice awards because I just couldn't make up my mind. Behind the link is the full-sized banners, so if you are on dial-up, it may be a bit slow loading.

The new layout will be up a bit later today. In the meantime, I'm working on pics for the next icon challenge. I apologize for new getting one up for this past week. I thought I did, and I didn't. So sorry about that.

You guys really outdid yourselves for this challenge. All of the banners & icons submitted were FANTABULOUS and things of beauty. We had 22 entries in total. I have a feeling it's going to be hard to vote for the Top 3, but the Top 3 is what you have to vote for.

What I've decided to do is the Top 3 finishers and the Mod's Choice will grace this community in a layout for three months in order of placing. But don't be surprised if after that you see the other entries pop up at various time as part of the layout. They were all that good. I'm in awe of your talent.

I hope that those of you that took part in this challenge enjoyed it. I plan on doing various other challenges throughout the summer, and look for the next challenge to be posted tomorrow.

Okay, since the series is done for the summer, and there will be no new caps...I need some help with ideas for challenges this summer. So share any ideas you can come up with, whether they be character challenges, pairing challenges, non-series regulars challenges, textures, colors, etc. You get the general gist here.

I'll make a list of your ideas, and use one each week, starting this Saturday, June 14th.

Since Bones is over for the season, I decided to do something a bit different for this week's challenge. Because I'm planning on changing the layout for the community, the challenge for this week is to make a new community banner and matching icon. There are only one requirement for this challenge:

1. The banner must be 790 x 350

I'm not giving you any pics/caps from which to make your banner. There are many places you can go to find some caps. If you need any help in finding them, let me know and I'll point you in the direction.

This challenge will run for two weeks. Respond to this post with your banners and icons. Then I'll post the banners and matching icons for voting. Whichever one wins, that will become part of the new layout and I'll base the layout colors on the winning banner.

The deadline for this challenge is 7:00 pm, Saturday, June 14th.

Hope you like this challenge and that we have a lot of submissions to vote on. Next Sunday (June 8th), I'll put up a new icon challenge.
