Hey, at this point, we would be happy to see posts on scriptures found elsewhere in cannonized LDS scripture. (Old Testement, New Testement, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price).

Put the reference for the scripture shared in the subject line, i.e. 2 Nephi 4:16

Since I have hearing loss, I have a hard time trying to grasp the full understanding of the gospel when a disscussion in a real life goes on. I find it very easy to understand things when I read or do things visually, so that I can feel involved. I decided to start this community becuase I really want my friends to share thier thoughts, such as what they learned in church, how it applied to thier lives that are related about the scriptures.
I do expect everybody who joins the communtiy to ahere church standards. There's a scripture that I really like. It's 3 Nephi 27:27, which reads "And know ye that ye shall be judges of this people, according to the judgment which I shall give unto you, which shall be just. Therefore, what manner of men ought ye to be? Verily I say unto you, even as I am." As a Moderator, I am going to treat everybody, I mean everybody, as equal.
Here is how this community is going to work:
-As long I have access to the internet, every day of the century, I will be posting one or two scriptures in a sequential order of the Book of Mormon, and share my thoughts.
-According to 1 Nephi 19:23, which reads, "And I did read many things unto them which were written in the books of Moses; but that I might more fully persuade them to believe in the Lord their Redeemer I did read unto them that which was written by the prophet Isaiah; for I did liken all scriptures unto us, that it might be for our profit and learning." Anyone can post thier thoughts based on a scripture, so that we as a community may have a better understanding of the Book of Mormon.
-Please do your very best to use all references if you are going to be using your thoughts as doctrine, it'll help me distinct which is true to it's teaching.
-For those who don't have the LJ (those who are my friends that I see daily.), you can still post anoymous, but please identify yourself so that if I know you, I can e-mail you and share more of your thoughts.
-Please don't be afraid to share your thoughts...nobody is right or wrong. You're free to express yourself, and by doing so, it'll help us feel the spirit.
-And lastly, this community is totally open for discussion! Please take the time to share your thoughts. {:o)
