Does anyone know where I can get an mp3 version of "Ajab Si" from Om Shanti Om without words? I want to make a ringtone of it for my phone because I love that song so much, but I want it without the singing and the midi versions I've come across are horrendous...

Hello! I'm Becky. I've a bit new to the Bollywood scene. A friend at work got me interested in it. I don't know much about it but I'm hoping that everyone here will help me with that! So far I have only two titles in my collection. I have "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" and "Bunty Aur Babli". I am hoping to expand that in the future. Any recommendations?

Hey everyone. I'm currently building up my Bollywood collection of songs, trying to get all (or at least, most) of my favorites from now and when I was younger. I've got the 2000s. I've also got all the Amitabh songs that I like but I'm drawing a blank on pre-DDLJ 1990s songs, as well as Rekha songs, other major actors/actresses from the '70s and I'm missing a lot from the '80s. Originally, I was just going through the actors' IMDB pages, but they're way too long, and anyway, I know there are actors/actresses I'm forgetting.

I was hoping, if you can remember some of the ones I left out, you could comment and let me know. They would pretty much be the hits of that year/decade, since I didn't live in India, we got our Bollywood fixes when I was little from "Best of (insert year)" videotapes.

Even if you can only think of one or two, that would be really helpful! :)
(And hopefully, by my listing these out, you'll remember a few of YOUR favorites, too!)

I'm trying to find the song that plays during the ending credits to the movie Eklavya. It is basically the "instrumental" version to the song "The Love Theme"????

I really loved just the music that played during the credits and I'm trying to find it online, but not much luck so far. Let me know if any of you peeps know where I could find it and download it.

It says it is Dola Re Dola (REMIX) but it doesn't sound like Dola Re Dola AT ALL, and it is not in Devdas' soundtrack.

Hi after travelling to India last year I saw my first Bollywood Dhoom2 (Dhoom machale!! lol) in Mysore and my bf and I love Hrithik Roshan (who doesn't right?). We have bought lots of Bollywood films on DVD in Australia and have since seen him in Krrish. Are there any new films out recently at the cinemas or coming our soon starring Hrithik?

I saw 'Sunday!' yesterday at the cinemas - what do you guys think of this film? I'm not sure I liked it that much but I did enjoy trying to learn a few words in Hindi from reading the English subtitles.

A film I loved recently was 'Tar Zameen Par'.

I'm in the middle of watching this movie and am enjoying it, but am feeling very confused about the relations of the people involved in the movie.

I understand that Salman Kahn is Prem, and Mohnish Bahl is his brother Rajesh. Rajesh married Pooja. Nisha and Pooja are sisters and their parents are Prof. Siddharth Choudhury and Mrs. Choudhury (as Rima). Prof. Choudhury went to school with the (this is where I start getting confused) uncle of Prem and Rajesh who has custody of them-I gathered that he has raised them since their parents died but I'm not sure of the rest of the situation.

I'm really interested in understanding just how Rita is related to Prem? Also, do they run a school, all the kids in uniform watching when they play Cricket has me confused.

Any other details are appreciated, I've really enjoyed the movie thus far and am heading back in to watch more. Another question I have is what traditions were they following in the marriage ceramony? The ransoming of the shoes and the rice over the head are rites I'm not as familier with. Also, what regions are these clothes most common, I'm not sure where the location of the two places the people live are-just that they are a couple hours apart.

i had a craving for shahrukh khan's old movies early last week.

there i said it. i still do and it's making me soo guilty cos im trying to get hold of the VCDs/ DVDs. i so badly wanted to watch Baazigar and Chaahat but i only managed to get Baazigar. i practically grew up watching shahrukh's movies alongside as his career blossoms (pretty sure im not the only one. heh!). i have his movies like DDLJ, Chaahat, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Darr, English Babu Desi Mem, Karan Arjun, and even King Uncle in VHS form. BUT they either grow mouldy or gets borrowed and unreturned and I forget who i lend them to. it gets annoying cos' my VHS and cassettes tapes become irrelevant. URGH!

shahrukh was phenomenal in Baazigar and so was Kajol. they've had IT on-screen since like forever! i loveee kajol's hair back then! (:

Ash-Abhi tie the knot

Mumbai: Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai on Friday exchanged vows at a colourful but extremely private ceremony.

One of Bollywood's best-known screen couples, Ash-Abhi married on Friday in a traditional Arya Samaji wedding with 11 priests presiding over the ceremonies.

Action at the two Bachchan households in Juhu, Jalsa and Prateeksha, began at 1700 hours IST in the evening even as fans and media persons gathered at both venues just before the scheduled time for the baraat.

As buses arrived to take guests from Bachchans’ residence Jalsa to Prateeksha, Abhishek Bachchan was spotted atop a decorated horse accompanied by his nephew as part of the baraat.

Guests at the baraat from Jalsa included industrialist Anil Ambani, actors Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Kirron Kher and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

Seven buses carrying the baraatis and Bachchan Jr arrived at Prateeksha where the groom once again got on top of the horse before riding in.

Bride Aishwarya had arrived at the venue earlier on Friday evening.

The ceremony held on the auspicious day of Akshay Tritiya climaxed three days of festivities starting from a sangeet function and the traditional mehendi ceremony.

The wedding sent the media into frenzy even though the Bachchans tried to keep the event strictly private and low-key because Amitabh’s mother Teji Bachchan is ill.

But fans did not leave the couple alone as hundreds of them lined the roads leading to the marriage venue. The police also had to briefly use batons to push back over-enthusiastic fans.

Tight security has been put in place for the function, which is expected to go on till late in the night.

Hello. I was surfing LJ and found your community here. I'm currently working on a new film that's been getting a lot of positive vibes and feedback. It's called "Americanizing Shelley" and it's the first Hollywood based Bollywood Crossover movie. You can see the website at www.americanizingshelleythemovie.com

It's going into limited release and it's going to be shown in just a few cities across the country, but we're hoping if it does well, it will springboard into wide release.
