Welcome to bollyicons! Here you will find icons from all facets of Bollywood, the film industry of India.

[1] Commenting on the entry from which you took the icon is required, preferably stating which icons you have taken.

[2] Do not, by any means whatsoever, direct-link.

[3] You must credit the icon maker in your keywords &/or user information. Crediting in posts is not acceptable. See the FAQ for information on how to credit.

[4] Please be respectful of all members.

[5] Community Promotion is not allowed unless specifically given permission by the maintainer, pyaari. Promoting your icon journal when posting icons is fine, however.

[6] If you are posting more than three icons, please place your icons behind a cut. Icons MUST adhere to LJ standards - No bigger than 100x100 pixels and 40kB.

[7] If you are mocking an LJ-CUT, please specify that the link is FAKE. A regular link is preferred over the fake LJ-CUT.

[8] All posts will now be FRIENDS ONLY so as to diminish icon theft. Please report any uncredited/stolen icons to this community.

How do I credit in keywords or comments?
An example can be found here.

1. Go to your userpics.
2. Next to each icon, you should see two boxes. One for keywords & one for comments.
3. Enter your keywords. Keywords are typically words or phrases so you can identify the icon. (i.e. SRK - Kal Ho Na Ho)
4. The comment box will typically have the credit to the icon-maker. In this box, enter <lj user="ICON MAKER USERNAME">
5. Repeat for all icons and save.

How do I credit in user information?

1. Go to your user information.
2. Scroll to the About You section.
3. Enter credit for such-and-such icon goes to <lj user="ICON MAKER USERNAME">
4. Repeat for other icons & save.
