This is a DIET community, and is open to anyone who wishes to lose weight, not just those who suffer from eating disorders.
Rules:
- Insult ANYONE and you are out.
- Post often. If we don't hear from you for months, I'll remove you from the members list and you can reapply whenever.
- Comment in other people's posts - It's just nice :)
- No trolls. This isn't an ED community anyway, but many members suffer from one and it's my responsibility to ensure that they aren't being pissed on.
This community is run by ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) fatal_vixxxen. Fat and ugly, but usually smiling, this is me:
Body Perfect started two years ago when my good friend Kelly and myself decided to start a diet community together, as I had an eating disorder and she simply wanted to lose some weight. The goal was that anyone who wanted weight loss advice or support could come here, since so many "pro-ED" communities piss on people who say "I want to lose some weight", which is unfair - weight loss is a legitimate desire for anyone, eating disordered or not!
I told a few of my Live Journal friends about it, and within months it became as popular as any other diet/ED community. Eventually Kelly became really busy with work and could no longer maintain it with me.. So although I was still in school I carried it on myself. I really can't believe how popular it has become, and I would like to thank all the members for making it so successful and helping each other out.
I like to this that this community helps people. Anyone is welcome to join, but all requests are monitered by me first. This is mainly so I can check out the profiles of all new members and learn a little about them before they join.
