My entries are getting increasingly personal and I'm no longer comfortable with letting so many people privy to my deep, dark secrets, even if you don't know me in real life. It wasn't as easy as the first time, but it had to be done. It was fun sharing my DCook love with some of you, and nice getting to know all of you. But...yeah, I can't anymore. I'm sorry.

Yay I am now posting this from our brand spanking new computer!
I knew that my uncle was looking into getting us a new and 2nd computer (my 2 sisters and I are sharing the one computer which is awkward when you have one in uni, one doing the HSC, and another in 8th grade and thus always the computer) but I didn't realise that he'd already gotten all the parts and was working on building a new one for us.
He's taken the old one away to reboot which is good considering how many times it's restarted itself by itself today alone.
But yay new computer! :D (although the screen's kinda weird. our other uncle randomly went out and bought us a new screen thats a flatscreen last month. and i was like "huh? why are u giving us a computer screen. we have one already. LoL)

I just went back 500 entries to catch up on LJ. FF and LJ have taken up half my day and I really should do some work but I don't feel like looking at the computer any more. I haven't even had a chance to watch the new Heroes yet. *grumbles*
And my computer is still being stupid. It restarted itself without warning 4 times so far in the period of 5 hours. Ugh!

Laiq, thanks for the inquiry. I checked it out and the rumor is indeed correct. My FX friends confirm that Francis Capra of Veronica Mars and Heroes fame will appear in the October 22 episode of SOA. However, I'm hearing he only has one line!

I need your help.
Imagine a world where Jared and Jensen never decided to go into acting *gasp* (I know, what a dark, bleary and sad world I am imagining) ... but humor me. Who would have been casted as Sam and Dean? I've read a ton of fic with people I personally couldn't necessarily visualize. Now I've been trying to recast them in my head and it's been really hard. I finally thought of two guys, but I'd be interested if your ideas are better/different/enlightening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a number of people on my flist who are studying Media / Film at College / University, and I was hoping that some of you may be able to come up with some good suggestions.
I'm trying to find a subject for my dissertation (10000 essay which finishes my degree) and keep getting caught up in the divine madness that is "Reefer Madness" (The Kristen Bell film) - my tutor suggested possibly looking at Cult film / theatre as a way of expanding this, but obviously I need more than that to even come up with a decent title!! (and subsequent 10000 words!!)
Anyone got any idea's on good books / reading lists based on Cult Theatre / Film?
I found a couple of US run courses that seem to touch on it, and I've emailed the college in question, asking for a reading list... but no idea if they would be willing to send me one.
If anyone has any idea's on good books / films to look at, PLEASE comment here....

I don't follow the football as religiously as my dad and sister but I always usually get involved in the finals and stuff. Especially since my dad's team is in the finals again this year. (They lost last year to the team they beat this year. Hee :D)So yes I was yelling at the TV and cheering. Dad's really funny when he gets excited.
I pimped my dad's car and taxi this morning before I went to work - tied ribbons and paper streamers to the outside (although the wet weather wasnt really good for the streamers) but it was cool to see the ribbons move while dad was driving me to work. :) My sisters also hung maroon and white streamers from the balcony (team colours). Then after the game we raced outside and stuck more streamers on dad's taxi because he was going to work. Hee. We also stuck them to our mailbox. Our neighbours had the opposite teams colours on their car but they conveniently went out when the game had finished but have just returned and the streamers are gone. LoL.

So sorry I haven't been on. Hectic. Volleyball games. I had 3 this week. I'm so pooped. Since I'm on Varisty it's best 3/5 games. So I play all three games, more if we loose. You know. So it's very tiring. Lol. I'm so pissed, I really really want to go to France with the school but I need $2000. It's a trip to France, Italy and Spain and I feel like crying I want to go so bad.
This sucks, I'm so sick of my mom never having any money.

lazyass_ has informed me that 90210 has gotten the axe down here after 4 eps. (They're not even going to bother with a Friday timeslot unlike what they did with VM, and by the sounds of it I don't think it'll play in non ratings period over the summer either.)Apparently its ratings were worse than Big Brother. So, I've had a couple of really busy days with Uni, and after seeing a video today that dionneshea posted (it'll be after the cut) I kind of realised how disappointed I was with FC on Heroes... so this is a big old rant about all that!!

YAY, I can't believe that I'm already done with my Florida and Eyecon report :) Usually it takes me a few weeks *lol* So yeah... here are my thoughts about our Florida trip and the convention :-)

I’m back home... unfortunately *sigh* Florida and Eyecon were beyond great, and to say that I had a fantastic time would truly be an understatement :D
The trip back home was a little bit exhausting and the first thing I did when I got home was falling into bed and sleeping for hours!! My cold is now back in full force, with fever and everything. But now, with being home again, it isn’t much of a problem, just very very inconvenient.
Anyway… my Eyecon report will follow tomorrow… especially about my photo op experiences with Jared and Co and the fact that A.J. bought our table shots at the banquet *lol* Yay! Alcohol. :D
OMG and Jared!!! Is it possible that this man could any cuter and hotter? I think not *ggg*
Will also get back to all of your comments in the next couple of days. Promise!!

Arrived safely in Tampa with my rental car, only to get a call fromtinkabell007, that she found my keychain with all my keys for home, work and my car in the room. Good times.
Guess my mom needs to get her booty to the airport to pick me up. Dang.
Eyecon was pretty awesome. Okay, a lot awesome. It was just so relaxed in comparison to all the other big cons I have been to. There was no stress, no waiting in line, no hassle for seats ... FUN!
