Based on a True Story is a five piece melodic hardcore band from Macomb Township, Michigan. Formed back in late November of 2002, the band has recorded a five song EP and played countless numbers of live shows within the Detroit area. The band pours their hearts into every note and live show played. The bands mission is for as many people as possible to hear their music, and to keep the already existing fans intrigued by their unique sound and emotional live performances.
