“Are you absolutely certain this is a good idea?” “For the very last time - yes! Now, hush up and do what I tell you.” “Very well, but do not say I didn’t warn you!” The ‘Classified X’ project was supposed to help change the world but it may very well become what destroys it. For years, the Ministry Unspeakables have worked to be able to bend and warp time, space and nature as a whole. What they didn’t anticipate was that Mother Nature would fight back and in ways, no one will ever calculate. The first phase is complete, the slamming together of different time eras into one. It is believed this is the end of the meddling but this is not so. It is only the beginning and the things to come will really change everything around. It also doesn’t help that the Unspeakables are not ceasing their experiments. Oh no, they believe they only need to tweak them and everything will work out correctly. Will the Unspeakables find the answer before it is too late, or will they mess things beyond any sort of repair? The tides of the future are rippling in various directions but some are using this for their own personal gain and influence. Lord Voldemort is one that is taking the advantage, yes, his old plans are gone since the Potters are still alive but he has bigger ambitions now. Who cares about one tiny prophecy when the very foundation of the world around them is crumbling? There has to be a way for him to gain the upper hand and be able to control what no one else can. Nevertheless, he will have opposition in the form of the Order of the Phoenix, led by formidable Albus Dumbledore, the man who knows much more than he is letting on. But, really is that a shock for anyone? Even the Ministry of Magic is causing difficult issues. They are trying to put everyone under their thumb, believing this will save everyone in the end. Laws are coming out left and right but who knows how they will work out. Will they end up doing more harm than good? Either way, the Minister knows what happens in the future and is determined to steer the magical community away from that kind of war and pain. For now, Voldemort and the Death Eaters do not have the key to the future reconciliations but for how long will that last? Is history destined to repeat itself or is there a new, story happening? Regardless of that, life goes on and the people have to move along with it. Just be advised to watch your back because you never know who is looking after you. When things are bleak and uncertain, it helps to remember to start -- Begging Mercy -- Can Anyone Hear You? Begging Mercy is a brand new Harry Potter RPG that is set in the year 1981. We go along with canon but variations are allowed. Original characters are encouraged and accepted too! We are a warm community that is looking for fun and active members!
