and so the far the result has scared the shit out of me:

"I was switched from Ortho Tri-Cyclen to Femcon FE last year, and it caused me to gain twenty pounds, caused spotting that lasted for a month and a half with no real "period" to speak of, and gave me migraines. My doctor told me to stick it out for two months - I did, and promptly went back on OTC."

Its kind of silly, but the gaining twenty pounds scared me more than any of the other stuff, not that constant spotting isn't terrifying either

I've almost finished watching Season 1.  This is the first time I can remember a show that started out not so great and improved so dramatically by its last third.  Nevertheless, Jericho is not on the level of The Wire or any other high quality drama - it just doesn't have the writing and acting.  However, it's got a really interesting premise and two great main characters (Jake and Hawkins).  It's also of that rare genre, the post-apocalyptic western (see: the Mad Max films and The Road by McCarthy).

Class started at 8:00.

I came in to at least get some credit time today and to turn in my video proposal, but they are doing something in there and I don't want to bust in in the middle of it and be all rude and shit.

Okay, except for the rain, but yay! Finally! A summer in London! I wish I had a fan in my room, though. I won't buy one because that'll end the warm weather streak. Call me superstitious, but it's true.

Yesterday, stuck on a delayed Central line train for 15 minutes was torture. You could see the sweat dripping down everyone's faces. I'd say it got to about 90-95, since it was a packed train and 82 above ground. I've never been so grateful for a breeze.

I like to think I make the right decisions, and I don't really have regrets and shit, but sometimes I find myself saying things, then being hypocritical about them later. You know, like saying something, then doing the opposite myself. I wish I could do the things I say and think the way I talk. I like to think I have morals and am outgoing and I'm just not someone who gets shit faced all the time (or almost ever), and that all the shit that happens is supposed to happen, or else it wouldn't be happening, you know?

I knew I shouldn't have come here. I can't ever predict my mother's mood swings. I just got yelled at for putting my head down and closing my eyes during a movie. I was enjoying it, I just didn't feel like paying attention to the film part. And then she's all in my face. Why the fuck do I keep volunteering myself for this?

The next three days will be too slow. I have to get out of here, but I feel like I can wait. As long as this doesn't happen again.

And she wonders why I hate being here.
