AboutThis community is for people who love Sam and Jack, and want to discuss how much we love Sam and Jack, BUT we want to do it in a sane way.

This is a place for fic, icons, fic requests, and discussions about Sam and Jack.

amykay73 or raisintorte will post a discussion topic once a week, but anyone can post a question or discussion topic at any time.
If you read a story and you can't find it? Ask and we will help!
If there is a story idea that you had, but have no time to write it? Post it! Maybe someone will write it.
And if all else fails this is a place where you can freely express frustrations about other, less sane, Sam and Jack fans.
PLEASE READ BEFORE JOINING
Before joining this community you must read and agree to follow the Rules and Guidelines (the "Rules and Guidelines"). By joining this community, you accept the Rules and Guidelines and agree to be bound by them. The moderators may in their discretion delete or remove anyone from the community who does not follow the Rules and Guidelines. Seriously, we are not kidding.
The Rules and Guidelines
(1) Pete MUST be referred to as Pete or Shanahan. Those are the ONLY two acceptable names for him. (Exception: Jack or another member of the SGC calling him something in a story).
(2) One Hundred Days happened. Get over it. People do have relationships with other people before they start dating. Everyone has baggage, deal with it.
(3) Sam is not a virgin. No matter what you think, using a sarcophagus WILL NOT make her one again.
(4) No Pete, Kerry, Orin, Laira, Kynthia, Narim, Martouf, Joe, Barrett, or similar character, bashing. Just because they flirted with and/or had sex with Sam or Jack does not make them bad, evil people. This is a Sam/Jack community; we are here to discuss and write stories about why Sam and Jack are good for each other, NOT why other people are bad for them.
(5) If you got the inspiration for you fic from a lifetime movie of the week OR if Sam is being abused in ANY way, don't post it here.
(6) No pregnancies!!! Especially with twins or triplets. (Exception: Cliche!fic, Crack!fic, Satire, and Parodies)
(7) OT3 fic is allowed. On occasion, Sam/Daniel fic will also be accepted. We know Sam and Daniel are not really siblings, and therefore it IS okay if they occasionally engage in sexual play
(8) Parodies and crack!fic ARE allowed and require no separate label or warning.
(9) Jack does not have a long-lost relative named "MacGyver."
(10) No Daniel, Teal'c, Vala, Cameron, or Jonas bashing.
Fic Posting guidelines
Fic should be posted with a header. The format of the header does not matter so long as it contains the following information:
Rating: Be clear, no random colored animals please.
Warning: Please warn if the fic is dark or there is death, or other known squicks.
Pairing: yes, this is a S/J community but as we said above we get the whole UST thing and understand that sometimes Sam played with Daniel or Sam and Jack had Daniel and Teal’c join in. That being said, not everyone wants to read OT3+ so please label your fic as such.
Spoilers: Anything season 7 and beyond must be clearly labeled.
Anything other than the above data must be placed behind an LJ-cut. If you do not know how to do an LJ-Cut, please read the FAQ.

We are an international Sam and Jack community and, as such, understand that not everyone is current on the show and not everyone wants to be spoiled. Out of respect for all members please put anything containing spoilers post-season 7 under a cut and label it as such. Thanks!
