Um I hope everybody had a nice holiday weekend.Mine was okay except I had to work on Friday and till 1 on the 4th(but I'm supposedly getting paid double for working on a holiday weekend), and some how the car got locked at the party we were at, so dad took ma's car and ma stayed till the locksmith came.I hope next year I get to see the fireworks at the fort like last year.Dad and I did manage to see the finale though on the bridge so bonus.

It's so weird because I've been watching her for a couple of months now(and I watched her on her old account) and I went to comment on her new picture and I noticed I couldn't.Then I thought, maybe I logged out but...didn't.I really don't know why she blocked me because I never really harassed her or anything.Maybe it's a mistake?It's quite odd because I usually try my hardest to give out the best comment I can.

I feel a bit conflicted now...But I need to pick up my sister soon and we're going to see Transformers 2.Ciao!

So, I've left work and am now footloose and fancy free until September - lots to do, in fact so much to do I have no idea how it's all going to fit in and work (one property to sell, need to arrange one to rent, injections galore that have to be done in random places that offer them, moving of furniture from one end of the country to another etc. etc. ARGH!) but will squeeze in time for a few adventures no doubt. I'm sat here browsing property, downloading music and eating softmints and feeling very odd that I'm not at work worrying about 'new starts' and 'ref2's' and other such exciting things. I've found time to post on LJ, look? see? Ha!

Amidst my browsing today, Mr James Henry (he of Green Wing writing genius) put in a link to Hulu.com which seems rather fantastic - TV and movies from both sides of the pond to watch in HD in an iplayer-ish fashion.  I think it might be time for me to start watching the US The Office as it seems to have settled down into something unique in and of itself, and something I might quite like.

Torchwood tonight, and I'm going to give this new serial version a go! I think originally I remember likening it to John Major bum sex, which was valid at the time, but it seems Uncle Rusty has made some changes.  We shall see. :strokes chin:

If you know me, you know I love cute things. Well I just hit the jackpot. It's called Perpetual Kid, and it is the most wonderful website I have ever encountered. It may be better than Fred Flare and ModCloth! That's MAH-JOR. This site has a bunch of the same stuff, actually, but it has MORE and BETTER stuff and it's like OMG I wish I could buy everything.

Headed to Houston in three days. If you have any apartment hunting advice, I'd love to have it before I go. Not looking forward to this at all :(.

I am so severely jet-lagged already and have spent the last three days with some nasty (NASTY) food poisoning or stomach bug or contaminated water or I don't even know, and we've spent 36 of the last 48 hours in airports or on airplanes , but... Tanzania was amazing. At some point, after I sleep a little and recover my ability to keep down food, I have 1000 pictures and 100 pages of journal entries to share with you!
