Bloody leg
I had an in-growing hair on my leg, and went after it with my usual disproportionate level of violence in response to minor irritations (in this case, a scalpel). Now I have a scar instead, although it's not as good as the one you can see just below it.

I went hiking yesterday and fell off of a branch I was climbing on. I got pretty banged up, but only one bruise is showing yet, so here's the pic of it.

the ring and pinky knuckles, and I'm sure some of the bones in the side as the bruising goes down to my wrist and I'm pretty sure I feel some inconsistancy in the bone abot 2/3 of the way there.
Suffice to say I was pissed and took it out on an unfortunate metal door.

I wish I'd gotten photos more quickly after it happened(Monday) as these were taken Tuesday evening. The knuckles[not the fingers] were swollen about three times their size to the point that the skin cracked, and the bulging deformity of it looked like Amy's hand at the end of the movie May.

The far knuckle is definitely separated, and my fingers don't close together as they do on the other hand. The pinky knuckle has also disappared into my hand (hopefully just until the swelling is gone).

Buuut... yeah. Nice big pretty bruise - thought I'd share ♥

the shins

behind the cut is a result of a recent snowboarding incident:

long story short; i fudged up and slammed my shins on a rail/box/"extreme terrain feature"

this series of pics was taken soon after the incident. none of the pictures really do it justice, and this collaberation was the closest to "3-D" as i could get... notice what you can see in some pictures, and cant see in others... the last picture probably has the best shading to help tell how big the "bulge" on my shin is, but you can also barely see the "small" (a little over an inch long) scrape behind the bulge in the first pic.
(i am also now emphasizing how minor the "scrape" is, and how much more significant the swelling is)
my other shin was similarly effected, since i slammed them both at the same time, but the swelling was at about half the degree. my knee might hurt the most (esp. when used) from how i landed on it, but is not picture worthy.
soon after the pics were taken, the swelling had already increased to the size of my knee, almost making it appear as though i had two knees.
as cool as two knees might be, that was not the case.

two days after the incident, my shin is healing, but definately still injured.

the entire bruise wraps nearly all the way around my leg below the calf.
(size reference = the height of this pic is roughly from right above my ankle, to right below my knee.)
...in the previous "shin" post, i emphazised the insignificance of the scrape... now its evident.

i havent bruised this visably since i seriously messed up my ankle skateboarding.</div>

ZombiePink update here. ZombiePink is a pin up style / blood fetish site with a soft edge. I often receive a number of complaints whenever I promote so this time I will be explaining the website a little better. When I post about the site in various lj communities it is NOT necessarily in order to make sales. Sales are great, but I am mainly just trying to get my work out there. There is a fully page of free samples available for viewing and commenting on. In addition I receive a lot of comments on the work looking "cheap" or "amateur". My answer to this is yes! It's supposed to look cheesy! I am a fetish model who has worked for a number of different photographers in the Baltimore Washington area. Although I LOVE posing for various fetish photos gore and mess is my favorite way to go! In addition to modeling, I have a large passion for horror films specifically zombies! I thought it would be fun to combine them. I have seen gorgeous work from others who have taken gore and made it sexy, but none with the fun and "cheese" of a horror film. The work is supposed to be fun with a bit of sex appeal thrown in. I have met many people that are in LOVE with this idea, but twice as many that have trouble understanding. I expect this but thought I would try to make the idea a little clearer.

My main question is where SHOULD I be marketing it? No where I advertise seems to attract interest because it IS a very specific area I'm trying to market. From feedback alone it appears as though I am too porno for the zombie/horror crowd, too soft for the bondage and fetish, and too amateur for the more "artsy" communities. Any suggestions on this are greatly appreciated!
