Welcome to BLOOD CAPSULES.

This 'community' is heavily under construction but once it's up and running, I intend for it to be just a searchable (by tag) database of short capsule reviews I've written for various horror films through the ages.

I hope it'll be of some use to people. If you join the community, you can choose to just read the reviews one by one as they're posted but my original reason for setting this up was because I'm not smart enough to know how to do a searchable CGI website thingie and I figured LJ tags was probably the easiest was to make this whole thing searchable by keyword. You can search by rating (ie: "Three stars", "Two and a half stars") or specific genre (ie: "Splatter", "Supernatural", "Serial Killer"). Alternatively, browse the whole thing by clicking on the community name.

BRIEF OUTLINE OF RATINGS SYSTEM:
= El Bomba! (So bad it's special)
0 = Abysmal
* = Poor
** = Average
*** = Good
**** = Top Drawer

I'll be adding more as and when I either watch something new or get round to fully migrating my cardfile onto here...
